Full Moon - January 13th, 2025
Each Full Moon can bring with it disruption. It is a time that is naturally turbulent and can trigger rebellious energy. People are more prone to pick a fight or to get triggered into reactive and aggressive spaces.
This Full Moon is likely to find people a bit on edge. Stress and tensions rise. For some, this will come in the form of anxiousness and uncertainty. For others, this will come from being called to challenge themselves and to face what is uncomfortable for them, in order to grow and refine their skills. Both offer the opportunity for growth; and both show us aspects of things that we need to strengthen and work on, or where we need more confidence in our ability to handle things.
We will need to be cautious with others, as they may not fully be honest in their intentions. It is a time where we could see a lot of peer pressure used. This is also important if you find people from your past resurfacing. It is worth getting to know who they are today vs. who they used to be. They may only be trying to re-enter your life because they think they can get something from you. On the other hand, it is possible that they have overcome things; and want you to see that they are now standing in truth and integrity, instead of being influenced by others. Previously hidden things may come to the surface at this time; and it is easier to see things that we couldn’t see before.
Choices are very important right now; but it may still be hard to really have clarity on things and what direction to go. It is not a good time for signing contracts or making life changing decisions. However, it can be good for exploring the different options and paths that you can take. Have the patience to wait until after this influence passes before moving forward. It is important to see where each choice leads.
If decisions must be made at this time, make certain that it “feels” right intuitively; but that it also meets some basic criteria. It is important that it provides stability, freedom, and quality of life. We will want it to be focused on what offers true value, instead of just material status or doing what others are doing. There should be a lot of freedom and openness or flexibility to shift and adjust things as needed. We will want it to be simple, authentic, and natural in its essence. This is about connecting with what is real and allows you to experience life and not just about material things or what others are doing.
I welcome you to face what is uncomfortable and embrace opportunities for growth. What if this is about refining your skills and self, working on those things that you need to strengthen, and building confidence in your ability to handle things?
I welcome you to get to know people for who they are today; instead of just who they used to be. What if this helps you to see if they just want something from you; or, have learned to stand in truth and integrity, regardless of what others are doing?
I welcome you to explore the different options and paths that are available to you. What if this is about taking the time to see where each choice leads?
I welcome you to focus on what provides stability, freedom, and quality of life. What if this often connects you with things of true value, instead of just following what others are doing?
In the Northern Hemisphere, we have the Wolf Moon, Old Moon, and Moon After Yule. In the energy of the Wolf Moon, we are called to close things out with love. This influence brings in danger, accident, and death energy this year. It shows that it is very important to stand strong and to make breakthroughs instead of breaking down and leaving things to fate. Fate is not our destiny, and it only leads us to have to redo things under harder circumstances. We want to draw on the wisdom of others to help us to be successful; but do not want to compete with them or sacrifice our own style in what we are doing. Successes come when we integrate the wisdom of true mentors, provide quality work in integrity, stand in truth, do not take advantage of others, and learn from the experiences we are having. Success is present and available; as long as we are not following false gurus, or resisting the transformation that needs to happen.
In the energy of the Old Moon, all types of relationships tend to be favorable. We will see who the real partnerships are; and who only wants us around to create their success, but are unwilling to support us in our own. In this influence, it can be a great time to bring things to completion. Where we work as a team with others and create positive experiences in the process of getting things done; we can make rapid advancements and successes. However, we need to work from genuine caring for one another and being objective and considering things from many perspectives and not just one side of things. Those that want to create battles or work with unethical people, may lash out at those receiving advancement through Divine Alignment. Those working in corruption always lash out when they are losing power in the world.
In the energy of the Moon After Yule, we see that there could be some weather challenges happening; so, best to have some extra supplies on hand, and be prepared for sudden shifts in weather. People may tend to feel a bit restless and be tempted to take risks or think that they can handle something when they cannot. This can cause curiosity to lead people into danger. A desire for adventure can pull us down paths that are not in Divine Alignment. Instead, we want to stay focused on things of real value and to appreciate the magnificence of everyday things. This is a great time to enjoy simple and healthy indulgences with people that we care about; and through experiences that nourish and enrich us. For example, having S'mores around a campfire; or, gathering with people we love for a potluck type social with everyone contributing something. We want to keep things simple, practical, and be responsible with our choices. So, enjoy a little treat or personal care; but do it in moderation, or take advantage of a special deal.
I welcome you to realize the difference between fate and destiny. What if breakthroughs lead you towards your destiny, while break downs put you in the hands of fate?
I welcome you to work with others to create positive experiences in the process of getting things done. What if this naturally unfolds rapid advancements and successes, when what we are doing supports God and Divine Presence in the world?
I welcome you to use caution with desires for adventure. What if you can find just as much joy and happiness by focusing on things of real value; and taking the time to appreciate the magnificence of everyday things?
In the Southern Hemisphere, we have the Hay Moon, Thunder Moon, Buck Moon, Mead Moon, Sturgeon Moon, Grain Moon, and Corn Moon. In the energy of the Hay Moon, we find that we must be very careful to not allow others to pull us into things that are not in integrity and not good for us. We also do not want to allow others to hold us back from moving forward. Remember, they can always move forward with us; but we must honor what is best for us. Some people and things simply cannot and/or are not meant to move forward with us. If you find that there are things that need to end, then end them with love. We are also cautioned to be more attentive to our surroundings and to use extra caution to reduce the potential for accidents. Practical and responsible choices and actions work best; especially when we are deciding things connected to our future.
In the energy of the Thunder Moon, we find that some people need to take time to step away from others and honor their own processes and well-being. They simply need a break to rest, restore, and not have to mentally focus on anything. We are favored for being in nature and other peaceful settings. It will also be important to be conscious of the things that we are saying and doing. Others will remember us for it for a very long time. If we work from compassion and unconditional love, and find ways to work with others instead of against them; then we will create wonderful and positive experiences, while still making great accomplishments. This is a time to stand in wholeness and reflect on any cycles that are completing. Love relationships are favored during this time, especially where people work as true partners and can honor and respect the personal time needed by others. It is important to support others in doing things that will nourish their health and well-being.
In the energy of the Buck Moon, we are favored for being in true abundance. This is a great time to join with others to help people, animals, and the planet. The key is to make certain that those we help, are also trying to help themselves where they can. Everyone has the ability to contribute something and we increase personal value when we allow people to make a contribution of some kind towards what they are getting. It doesn’t have to be financial; it just needs to allow them to feel valued and a part of things. Those that seek out power and control will have a tendency to become dramatic under this influence and will try to create upheaval for others. It can also bring unexpected storms that lead people to have to join their skills, wisdom, and resources in order to get through things.
In the energy of the Mead Moon, relationships become important. This is a time where it is easier to see who has our back; and who is manipulating us and stabbing us in the back. Those that are standing in with God and on the path of Spirit will have to stand strong; especially if they are making strong successes or rapid advancements that nourish Divine Presence in the world. Those that work against God or Divine Source will have a tendency to lash out, seeking suffering, and even “attack” those that are strong in Spirit. We want to embrace the successes and forward movement; but we will also do well to be in observation and see things from many sides and perspectives. Just because someone carries a different perspective, does not mean that they are against us or God or Divine Source. The key is for us to learn how to work with each other, instead of being in battle with each other.
In the energy of the Sturgeon Moon, we want to stay focused on being practical and responsible. It is important that we do not put ourselves into debt to do something. Things work out best when they are kept simple. Remember, it is not how fancy something is; but the value that is received. Things of real value cannot be bought. They come from seeing the magnificence of nature. They come through our interactions and the time we share with others. They come from doing quality work with integrity; and working through real abundance, instead of illusory or material abundance. This is a time for us to release temptations and wanderlust desires; and to choose what provides true fulfillment, joy, and happiness. When we learn to love and appreciate the value of everyday things; we will not need to search for anything else, even if we can enjoy other things. Remember, it is not so much about what we do; but the care and love that we put into what we do.
In the energy of the Grain Moon, we also see a strong need to be practical and responsible. Obligations may be more challenging than normal; and we may become tempted to take the “easy” way out of something. However, this will not benefit us. At this time, we need to stand up for what is right, in lawful and ethical ways; without being in battle with those that only want to make us look bad. We want to be careful of rebellion energy and those that are trying to provoke us into reaction. It is stress and reaction that can take its toll on our health and well-being. We will need to find the balance between handling what needs to be done; and taking care of ourselves. It is important that we do not feel guilty for honoring personal care or getting some extra rest in order to avoid getting sick.
In the energy of the Corn Moon, we also see the need to make health and well-being a priority. Those that are living in materialism will try to push those standing in Spirit past their limits. They will use guilt and manipulation to get them to do things; even if it is detrimental for the person in Spirit. It is important to help where we feel it is important to do so; but to also know when we must walk away from requests, because we are enabling others in abusive patterns. We need to stand firm in not depleting our own resources (body, mind, or Spirit); for those that have more than we have and only want to break our Spirit, or have us accompany them in their misery. At this time, we are polishing our skills in facing stress and challenges; and called to choose things of Spirit and true value over materialism and illusory value.
I welcome you to stand strong and keep moving forward; even if others will not move forward with you. What if you can provide love to people and situations; even if you need to end them?
I welcome you to honor being in nature or peaceful settings. What if this allows you to be more conscious of what you are saying and doing when you are around others; and to interact with compassion and unconditional love?
I welcome you to allow others to give something for what they are getting. What if this allows them to feel valued and nourishes true abundance within them?
I welcome you to pay attention to those who are lashing out and seeking the suffering of others. What if these are the people that are working against God/Divine Source?
I welcome you to remember that things of real value do not come in fancy packages and cannot be bought. What if they come through your interactions and doing quality work with integrity?
I welcome you to meet your obligations and responsibilities; instead of being tempted to take the “easy” way out. What if you can take care of what needs to be done; and still honor time for your own personal care?
I welcome you to make health and well-being a priority for yourself and others. What if that means saying no to others, if it puts you in a detrimental position or enables them in abusive patterns?
