'Twas the day before Christmas
And all through the land
doggies in pajamas
were taking a stand!

Their humans were jolly
and snapping the pics
but offering no extra treats
to nibble or lick!

This could NOT be fair!
And the dogs had just cause,
to go plead their case
straight to dear old Santa Paws!

They banded together
and said "let's make a deal",
"We'll wear the darn jammies
for one extra meal!"

So that Christmas Eve
dogs far and wide
wore onesies and sweaters
with nothing to hide!

They wore flannels and sequins
jingle bells and plaids,
only in fair exchange for
all the yummy treats to be had!

If you plan to do same
with such gay apparel
just remember this rule:
Give a treat, not a carol!

For our dogs provide sources
of such joy and light
let's love them a little harder
on this Christmas Eve night!

18 months and fully grown at 58 lbs, a gentle sweetheart with dogs, kids, and cats - crate trained and housebroken - loves riding in the car! If there was anything else to be perfect about an adoptable dog, she would be!

Her previous owner passed away and now we would all "love" to get her into her new forever home in time for Santa Paws 🎄

Feeling thankful every day, but especially today, for our adopters, fosters, and supporters! Sending all the gratitude to Mrs. Danner's homeroom at Orefield Middle School for raising much needed funds and collecting supplies for both us and our friends at FURR. Plus they showered some adoptable and alum pups with all the love and affection! What better way to teach responsibility and compassion than through the support of local animal rescue? Thank you students and Mrs. Danner! 🙌🏼
