Her foster has so many wonderful things to say about this little cutie! She loves to play with the other dogs in the foster home. She is good with cats as well as children. Toffee rides well in the car and is quiet at home - not a barker at all! Toffee is good in a crate and would do best with a fenced-in yard at her forever home. Toffee is still working on her potty training skills and will need some time to continue to work on this. Her favorite past times include playing with toys and cuddling on the couch! This little cutie is highly food motivated, is described as medium energy, and loves to play with toys with her people and other dogs.

Warning: Heat Advisory In Effect! 🔥🥵🌡️Luckily it's cooler at higher elevations, like at the peak of Roscoe's ears. 🏔️🏔️

A Jack Russell mix, weighing in at 18 lbs at under 6 months old, this pal is great with or without another dog, fine with cats, can love on you but also is very happy with a little independence and does not need to cling to you every second. (Take your Zoom calls in peace! 👩🏼‍💻)

A naturally energetic breed, Roscoe should be with a somewhat active household, where daily walks or a fenced-in yard for safe zoomies would be necessary. He is good on a leash and in the car for more long-distance adventures! Will even likely stay within airline cabin carry-on weight ✈️

Some of you know her as your Fairy Dogmother 🪄

Some of you know her as the cruise director of Del Beagle Vista: retirement home for active adult hounds 🌴

Some of you just know her as the one who replies to your pleas for rescue, medical, rehabilitation and rehoming assistance. 🆘

But across the board, to our extended family of RTR Adopters - she is the reason you have your dog 🐶 (and in a case or two, your cat 🐱)

She never takes a litter and leaves the mom behind.👩‍👦‍👦

She never turns away from a torn ACL or a set of busted teeth or a double cherry eye.🚑

She holds your pups as they come out of their anaesthesia, she maintains our entire network of microchips in case a dog ever strays too far from home, and for some of us, she provides the very important but necessary service of beagle b***y juicing 🫰🏼

Bottom line, with Beth Sloane-Rimer you'll never walk alone.🐾🐾

This is your reminder not to be fooled by what you see on social media.

Petunia, our viral plant-themed pup, has 700 reactions and 229 shares on her FB debut - tens of thousands of impressions in geek speak - and not one adoption application. Zero.

So while things might look bright and shiny and happy and popular on the screen, behind it is still just a lonely girl looking for her home.

And let that be a lesson in your daily scrolling, too... 😏

Now, returning back to the matter at hand - don't let the early frost fool you, Petunia is just six years old and has a lotta lab left in her! And she's calm, respectful, leash-walkable, house-let-loose-able, totally-snoot-boopable. And THAT is the authentic real truth - the only thing this post is hiding is our utter disappointment and frustration that this perfect specimen of dog has done nothing to interest a potential adopter. After all, a turnkey pet doesn't come along all the time!

A four year old Maltipoo, matted and dirty, is lonely and scared in an overcrowded city shelter. She is rescued, treated to a spa day complete with a full dental treatment, and placed in a foster home where she is doted on by her humans. She loves her big and small foster siblings, but loves the attention from her foster parents the best. She is crate-trained, housebroken, and loves a binge watch session on the couch.
