This is roughly what t-shirts and hoodies will look like. What does everyone think?
The reason I will be rebranding to "Comin' in Hot Performance Horses" is in honor of my grandpa.

Bailey's horse Slugger. His first time having this done. It's the little things❤️

● I will be rebranding. I'll also be getting the LLC. I WILL NO longer be Double M Performance Horses. I will not be relasing the name until everything is said an done.
● I am working diligently to improve myself as a rider and reconstructing my program and set up essentially making it my "own" program.
● Prices will not be changing anytime soon.
● Tossing the idea around for turn out board only. If I decide to do this, Coggins and shots must be UTD
● I currently have one potential intern. We're trying to get our schedules lines put to see how it will work.
●Bailey is still working with me. We do have 7 horses between the two of us (yes, I have 5 lol) to get in shape and legged up so we have to be reasonable about our workload. We both work 3/12s.
● I have sat down, I do have a business plan improvement structured, and a updated version. My intern did help me with. Now, I need to run it past Bailey and I'll get to that eventually. With me working I can't run it alone, be effective and efficient while working. This has to be 100 percent aligned and correct for this to work.
● I will be posting more, before and afters.
●My intern will also be posted with her before videos of her riding, and then after each month the plan is to upload a progress video.
●Also, I have two, two year olds that will have have progress videos uploaded weekly or biweekly. Bailey has one 3 year old that will be as well.
●I will be offering full care and for an additional cost. I do feed Dove Nutriton Performance
●I will be offering a raffle for training.
●T-Shirts and Hoodies are always a option to order BUT I will not be accepting these until the rebrand is released.
●I have tossed the idea of making custom leather tack, this is a idea I'm tossing around in my head.
●So in 2025 my minium amount of training will be 60 days. This will offer a better start. 30 days of ground work, 30 days of riding time.
●I do plan on getting certified in PEMF eventually, so that will also be an additional service I will provide
Thank you🙂

I have decided to do an internship, to help build my business, and to help someone else who can’t afford lesson etc to learn. This will help prove the knowledge I do have, and it’ll help someone who wants to learn so bad it hurts. I still get lessons, so as I learn more and more, they will too within time. You will be riding personal horses, and clients horses only if I see fit. If they request you to stay off, you will under all circumstances. Waiver will be signed.
Intern must be on time, I’m incredibly flexible, Monday through Friday. Pick your own days and times. No weekends unless you want to tag along to a show. Can bring your own horse and learn if you want, horse must be UTD on all vaccines, and coggins. Bailey will be alongside to help as well. Message me for any interest and more information. Please take into account this is hands on, it’s hard work, but the reward is amazing.
Internship includes:
•Colt starting
• tune ups
• barrel tune ups
•riding basics
•barrel basics.

I have some announcements coming in for the new year! Stay tuned. Super excited!

Picture: Hard work. Dedication. Courage. Confidence. Proudness.

Back ground scenes: Hard work. Dedication. Confidence. Proudness. Blood. Sweat. Tears. Self Doubt. Worthiness. Lack of confidence. More tears. More blood. Discouragement.

Moral of the story: keep going. Remove anyone who distracts you from your goals. Remove self pity. Remove your emotions. Work hard. Work even harder than the day before. Stay humble. Keep learning. Keep riding. Keep going.

Quickest things I learned while training two/three year olds.

-Something i learned fast when i started training on my own, get out of the round pen asap. Do not rely on it. Get a nice solid foundation started and get out. Round pen is your friend, but know when to use it and never rely on it😉

-I train all my horses in spit reins. I run barrels at home, (not often once every two three weeks) do all my training in splits. Started showing again come spring. Come to find out. I couldn’t ride in a round rein. A round reins. For Pete’s sake. Ran exhibition in splits cruised just fine🤦‍♀️ My hands were doing weird crap with a round rein😂 i started to practice with both at home and I’m good to go now. Now, i differentiate the two with what I’m planning to do that day and my set goals of the day. 😉

-Straight Lines are important. I don’t care what anyone says lol. If you do it in a circle. Do it in a straight line too. Rectangles are super important to my training too🙂

- Babies are babies. Let them be babies and let them have personalities. (Make sure they are respectful and have manners) but still let them grow into what that are capable of. Everything comes with time. 🙂

-Don’t be so hard on yourself and never give up. I have to remind myself daily that I’m worthy for my horses. 👏

-Also your “friends” will not support you🤷‍♀️ it is what it is and you learn fast who support you and your goals and who doesn’t. I promise🤞

Next year i will have limited spots, i have decided to go back to college and get my LPN. I don’t get enough business around here to keep doing this full time. Mostly because I’m fresh out of the gate, and I’m not well known. It’s super unfortunate honestly. This has been my dream. I will keep working to chase it, I’m not giving up. People can hardly afford horses, or sending them off to training at the time. I’m not big enough for a lot of people to take a chance on me and waste the money. (Which they wouldn’t be lol, they just don’t know that.) I will keep going, striving to be better, and continue to try to get clients. It’s just going to be limited. That’s just how the dice rolled.
Happy riding!❤️

10 things I’ve learned from training horses over the years, even when i was under a trainer.

1.) not all horses are born with athleticism.
2.) i will never own another dash for cash line again
3.) 3 year olds are a great age to put under saddle
4.) you can not out train pain
5.) you can always become better, rider, horseman everything. I’ll write stuff on my hands to remember what I need to focus on in certain situations. (Like when I’m showing)
5.) people breed for color, and shouldn’t. If they have color, they need brains too. Confirmation and proven ability is super important as well.
6.) I hate everything about a Jr cow horse bit and mine are going in the trash.
7.) heavy hands create a soft mouth. Knowing when to be heavy is the key, and how to use your hands correctly.
8.) the more distractions the better
9.) i personally will never stop my dedication to be better at being a trainer, barrel racer, teacher, and overall knowledge perception.
10.) never give up, even when you have every reason to.

So anyone wanna take a second and cry with me, because my used 650 Martha joesy saddle fits Jetman better then the 3k Double J I had him fitted for. (Which fit perfectly at first) 🥲 (he’s way more comfortable in the Martha nosey now, at least one fits)
If any of you see me slamming my head in a brick wall, mind your business. I’m there to go unconscious and pretend I’m nonexistent.
Picture of my hard to fit gelding that i love so ever dearly🫠

So unfortunately I’m going to have to change my prices again 😔 We have sunk a lot of money into the barn, (almost all walls are doubled, still have a couple left to do) with rubber mats, gates, bucket hangers, special hay hangers, hay chix hay nets ( I’m still working on getting all of them. I’m getting the ones for whole square bales, for barefoot horses. I’m getting the two smaller ones for horses with shoes) I’m really putting my pride and sinking money into the training dream of mine. I’ve paid A LOT of money for lessons, clinics, school. I’ve spent countless hours listening to podcast, watching YouTube videos, and reading everything I possibly can. I’m still going to school for things this fall as well, I’m doing this pretty much full time now. I have to make it worth it to me as well otherwise I’m doing it basically for free. I have to make this worth my time as well, I love doing it. I just have to make a profit as well. Thank you 😊
——If we’ve already talked. Prices are set at what we have already discussed.
They will be edited and pinned.
