Meet Sally!🧡 This lovely lady is about 2 years old and weighs 22 lb. She is not only friendly with other dogs but with cats and older kids too! She is housebroken, calm and reserved in the home, and playful in her foster's yard. She would like nothing more than a fenced-in yard, a cushy couch and a welcoming lap in her life. She will fall in love with her human and once she trusts you, she is the sweetest, calmest companion. She loves to play, and blossoms when around dogs of any size and therefore, needs a canine buddy in her forever home. Will you be her family? She promises to love you forever!🐾

Wanda has spent every day of her short life in heartbreaking isolation, with no one to offer a loving touch or a kind word. At just 5 months old, this sweet Pyrenees mix has known only the cold and uncaring walls of the shelter. She is sad & alone now, waiting in a high-kill shelter where her life hangs by a thread.

Despite her innocent eyes and gentle nature, she’s been overlooked and ignored, day after day, for five long months. Wanda’s story is one of silent suffering. She doesn't deserve this fate; she’s just a baby, facing a death sentence she can't understand.

Time is running out for Wanda. She’s on high alert and set to be euthanized immediately due to the shelter’s capacity for care. Each moment that passes is one less moment she has. Please don’t let her story end in tragedy. This sweet, scared puppy is begging for a second chance. She needs out ASAP, or tomorrow might be her last day.

⭐️Update: We have the dog and we are getting him medical care. Thank you so much to all the incredible humans who helped us track him down and capture him!

Denver Animal Protection needs help capturing this Australian Shepherd loose in the area of 400 S. Tejon for several weeks. We learned yesterday this dog had been shot in the face. The pup is extremely skittish and very hard to capture. If you see him in your yard, shed, or garage, please don't approach or run after him. If you can, confine him in your yard, shed or garage and immediately call 720-913-2080 to report you have the dog on your property. Thank you for your compassion in helping this injured animal.
