From a local Vet....
This tick has been hanging around for us to show people for a while. After months in a sealed container with no additional feeding she laid eggs. This gives you an idea of how long a tick can be dormant and how many eggs one female can lay. Remember ticks bloom again in the fall so keep up with prevention.

FYI . Info for any fellow groomers that may use dyes on dogs.
I personally like a dogs coat the way god made them and it is illegal in the state of South Carolina to use dye on dogs but I have some friends that live out of state and do a wonderful job dyeing coats.

Other groomers have reported multiple dogs getting very sick and when the dyes were tested it came back that they were toxic to dogs.
Below states it’s only pastels but all colors have been reported as making dogs sick. And not just certain batch numbers. Apparently this is very wide spread.

Heads up everyone. Hope no
One has to deal with this.
