For all the Rocky fans out there- look at our boy relaxing in a kennel ♥️♥️♥️♥️ (even with 12 puppies playing in the next room 🫣)
He is making great progress & is such a sweet boy.

Howden is one of the cruelty case dogs we took in on Monday. These dogs were labeled feral at the shelter. They don’t know what a leash is & have no idea what to think about humans. Howden is starting to understand the leash already 🙏♥️ #rehabilitation #dogrescue #finalchanceanimalrescue
Your average animal rescue’s intake process (the process of accepting a dog into rescue) looks so much different than ours. Ours isn’t as cute to watch but I wanted to share a glimpse because the kinds of dogs we accept into rescue are just as important. These boys were the last 2 needing rescue out of a seizure/confiscation of 22 dogs. Everyone else found safety in rescue except them.So we took them.We took them because they deserve a chance too. We created this rescue to rehabilitate dogs like Howden & Big Max.Your donations allow us to do this. This is your dollars at work. And we can’t thank you enough for believing in us & our mission. $5 Friday for Final Chance Animal Rescue! Imagine being abused & neglected, living only outside, with over 20 other large breed dogs. Luckily for the other 20 dogs, they were able to handle the life a bit better than these 2 boys- and they were placed in rescue as soon as the court ruled they could be released from animal control after police seized all of the dogs (& a whole lot of weapons 😳).Unfortunately, the 2 boys in the video endured more trauma than the others & are unable to be handled or touched. That really limits their options on placement but luckily a volunteer heard about us & reached out with a plea for help. Hearing that the officers who rescued them were rooting for them & trying to save them as well, just broke our hearts. Imagine saving some dogs from horrific conditions, only to have them face euthanasia in a shelter… We committed to saving the last 2 boys & need your help with funding their rehabilitation. We anticipate they’ll be with us for at least a year.If everyone on my friends list donated just $5 today to save Big Max & Howden we could not only take them on without facing financial stress… we could save even more dogs like them. They deserve a chance. Help me bring them “home” this Holiday. 🙏 Paypal.me/FCARMN

Quick Mel update…. Mel (now known as Walter) is doing just fine ✨
Mel was on a local euthanasia list due to his behavior & he had a bite incident (human) when being handled there. We really weren’t planning on taking in another dog this year without raising some substantial funds but Mel is Tee’s brother. When we pulled Tee from that same shelter we heard her brother was there so we kept an eye on him. So when he landed on the euth list, we knew the right thing to do was to help give him a chance too.Mel left the shelter this morning & we headed out to lead the @blainekennels Spicy Dog Pack Walk. We got to work right away! He did great & is now snoozin as he settles in ♥️Help us continue to do the right thing: givemn.org/Final-Chance-Animal-Rescue
We are at 40% of our fundraising goal for today! Can you help us make it? 🙏 Why donate to Final Chance Animal Rescue? For Niko. Who found himself at a local shelter, needing rescue. We absolutely adore chows & always try to have one in the pack. He was our hardest chow in regards to dog aggression. He has been with us since May & is now integrated with the pack! He is a happy boy who is amazing at the vet & groomer! He loves people! Dogs in n our care are with us at least 6 months on average & every dog has a training plan. Your contribution today helps us fund our efforts so we can continue to help local dogs in need. givemn.org/Final-Chance-Animal-Rescue
