Hey everyone! Long time since I’ve posted, at the beginning of summer we bought some land!! Been extremely busy getting it cleaned out and usable I’ve only just put my horses out there last week. Today I got my temporary stalls up until I can go take down the ones I built last year. We’ve also got the round pen where I want it, just needs leveled and I’ve got to move some dirt! Things are looking good! I do have a spot picked for an arena as well so that will be a fall project. We still have another 3 acres to clean up. Really excited to get to work again soon will keep y’all updated as things improve. I want to thank all of my regular clients so much for being patient with me these last 2 years it really means a lot!

Was a great day riding horses all over town, even hit up the taco truck! People sure don’t slow down or move over for riders anymore good thing we are prepared for that!

One year ago today I headed to Bowie to pick up this boys momma❤️ This is Venom out and about for his first outing last week being a very good boy for only 10mo! At this time I am open to taking weanlings and yearling in for training. I’m going to keep it as just that for now. We will be moving again and for the LAST time some point over the next few months. It’s been a very hard long and stressful last 2 years and I’m ready to get back to full time training getting colts started for y’all and making sure your horses are tuned up for anything you need!

Doll turned out to be such a sweet mare! She is available feel free to reach out if interested. Hancock -Valentine lines I have copies of her parents papers but she is grade. 7yo Always been a brood mare, I’ve got her completely ground broke ready to start or she’s open to be bred again. I’m too pregnant to do much else and need to get one less horse on the feed bill this winter!

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

Any horse that has been to the Bowie Livestock barn or has been in contact with horses from Bowie Livestock Barn is NOT ALLOWED on the property for the next 30 days.

As with anything there will be a million different people saying a million different things. We can all hope that the original information that was shared wasn’t completely accurate, however we are still going to be proactive in protecting our facility and our animals from any possible threats. When more information is released we may change plans going forward, but for now we are going to stand by not allowing any horses from Bowie or in contact with horses from Bowie from coming to our facility.

Pease see the post we shared from Bowie. They confirmed a horse tested positive on Friday and are awaiting further test results from the state which will be back Friday to confirm whether the horse actually is positive or if it was a false positive. As such we are also awaiting those results before we open back up as normal. Here is a link to their post as well.

Looks like we will be up and rolling come spring, I have a few projects going so will have limited space to take clients but exited to be back! Lots of things didn’t pan out over the summer but things are finally coming together. Will have 2 possibly 3 stalls available come mid March ‘25 located in Blanchard (close to my old facility location) I WILL have 6ft fences so can take your wildies! This is a BLM approved fence/ facility I’m just changing it some to meet my needs! It’s my original facility from many many years ago and just needs some updating!

Update!!! Doll had a baby boy who we’ve named Venom! He’s about 2 weeks old now and doing great!! Unfortunately my facility is far from done so still unable to open my books at this time( more on that in another update soon) but for now enough his cute face🤗

Made a quick trip to Texas today and picked up this pretty girl! She’s a Hancock mare bred back to Docs hickory- blue valentine- peponita Stallion. Unofficial for now gonna make some calls to AQHA for papers and such. This mare is the start to a long line of ranch horses and I’m so happy to have found her to get me started.
