Puppies make a great Christmas gift, but they’re a life-long commitment for sure! It’s a decision that should not be taken lightly, but one that requires planning and preparation.

That being said, we suggest a post-Christmas puppy! Giving all the “stuff” and pictures of the puppy on Christmas morning, but building the excitement for picking up your puppy a few weeks later. This also allows your family to prepare for your new family member!

We have a litter of standard pyradoodles that is ready to go home a few weeks after Christmas that would make EXCELLENT post-Christmas puppies.

If you’ve been in communication with us at all over the past 2-3 years, you’ve probably met or at least talked to Heather.

Heather is the one that keeps us all in line, especially when we tend to go crazy. She helps us deliver and raise some of our pups, and provides much needed comedic relief when necessary! We’re not lying when we say we here at Perky’s Doodle Barn couldn’t do what we do without her!
