When getting a doodle, be aware that they can have multiple coats due to them being a mixed breed. Proper brushing is crucial to prevent matting at the skin. Not all doodles will have this issue, but it's important to be aware of the possibility. As an example, this standard Aussie doodle has an undercoat that I removed partly on one side, which then requires 4 hours to complete the groom. This is why grooming doodles can be expensive and why I'm not currently taking on any new large full grooms. Thanks Kayla

Hello All,

I wanted to take a moment to hop on here and provide a reminder regarding last-minute cancellations. Any last minute cancellation for ALL services I offer will come with a fee and will be noted in your file for future reference. My kennels fill up fast, especially around school breaks. The kennels and grooming provide me with income that I rely on to live; not to mention upgrades and repairs to my buildings to ensure a quality stay/or visit for your furry friends. Last minute cancelations really do affect small businesses.

With that being said, I am more than understanding that emergencies do happen and there is no way around it. But please keep in mind that I am extremely flexible with pick up and drop off times and I do my best to help where it’s needed. Never hesitate to reach out prior to any service and I will try my best to accommodate!

I have had a overwhelming increase in no shows or last minute cancellations for grooming that has made a very large impact the last 2 months. With that IF I accept you as a new client (witch I am becoming selective with) or have on record of many last-minute cancellations (does not include emergencies), no shows, or reschedules you must have a phone number on file to be billed minimum $25 for missing the appointment. If you do not pay your invoice I will not re-book you. With the amount of missed appointments I have lost over $800 whichcould have been filled with my other other customers. If this trend continues I will start cutting my grooming days down more and require deposits beforehand. But thank you to my regular clients I love working on your animals! ~Kayla

Another point I would like to make is that he is outside! Just 5 minutes a day can prevent bad matting. Even if you brush them twice a week it’s better then nothing but every day is the best.
