I'm canceling doggy playday for Tuesday and Friday next week due to the forecasted temperatures and no rain. We've had a wet year, putting us about 4-5 weeks behind on hay season, with many acres to cut and bale before the rain. My kennel is full, and the heat makes it unsafe for the dogs to play as usual even though I do let them run in and out of the building. I would still not feel comfortable, leaving them outside with it over 90. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes. We should be back to normal once we get the first cutting done. Thank you everyone for understanding.

After seeing my doctor today, I will have to reduce my grooming services for a little longer. I will not be able to take large dogs and shave downs for another 4 to 6 weeks. However, I can still groom small dogs, but I can only do a few at a time, which means my appointment times will be limited. If you are a regular client, please think about rebooking your next appointment. I may be able to make some exceptions, but I need to take this time to recover so that I can avoid delays in the future. All dogs at the kennel are okay at this time! Please don’t hesitate to reach out but also don’t be alarmed if I do not get right back with you as I’m sure to be doing some cleaning in the morning.

There will be no doggy play day on the 21st, 25th, and 28th of March due to the number of dogs I have for spring break. Also, I cannot take any dogs for boarding as I am completely full for the last week. I am also filling up from May 21 through the 26th. So, if you are planning a trip, please get with me to schedule boarding.
