Welcome to the party, Whitman! 😍🎉 We're obsessed with this fluffy ball of joy & had a great time with him in the spa, brushing out all that winter fluff and getting him all shaped up for spring! AND he still gave us a great big grin at the end - that's the enthusiasm for grooming we love to see 😂💖

We love fresh faces in the salon for spring! (We know it's February in MN, but we can dream...)

Birdie not only did a lovely job for her groom, she did a lovely job hamming it up for some after / before pictures! What a cutie! 😍

Birdie enjoyed a full groom with us, with a uniform shave on her body and legs and hand sc******ng for her face and rounding out her paws.

Argos wanted to know if this was Santa's sack.....we had to break it to him that there were no presents in there.....unless he wanted cut fur for Christmas...😂

BUT after his full groom, he's all ready for pictures with Santa so he can let the big guy know what's really on his Christmas list! Treats? Toys? Snacks? How about all of the above! 😂

We had a great time with Henry and Tucker! Made the most of just a little off the top, as these two are growing out a different style - so they needed to be tidy, but with very little off.

POODLE PARTY 🎉 country poodles Gideon & Tori came to town for full grooms and visiting their puppy cousins (see that little Merida paw?)

These two are living proof that "low maintenance" poodle cuts can still be super cute! Both got very close shaves with clean face and feet, and Gideon also got clean ears while miss Tori kept some fluff. This will be great to keep them tidy throughout a busy holiday season!

Speaking of holiday season.....can you believe it came up so fast? We are booked through Thanksgiving, but still taking appointments through December in time for those holiday cards! Give WonderDog a call or send us an email to get your pup on the schedule 😊

Nothing gets a pup frisky and ready to party like a good fluff dry and squeaky clean paws 😍

We love our bath and blowdry appointments - they're a great way to get to know your pup before a full groom, or just take a chore off your plate at home!

Most bath & dry's can be done in 1-2 hours, great for either a drop-off to run a few errands OR just the right amount of breaktime from a fun day at daycare. 😁

splish splash, it's the week for baths! 🛁🧼

do you ever just blink and find a grinning, suddenly dirty puppy and think "well I really hadn't PLANNED time for a bath this week...."? We do, all the time. It's, like, Percy's favorite "gotcha!" 😂

That's what we're here for! A bath appointment is just a few hours, max, and your pup comes back smelling great and all brushed out - and you didn't have to get soaking wet to do it.

Case in point - Mico and Ruffael were back for a little mid-cycle clean up after some lake days and tumbling in the yard. All clean, boys! 😍

First off, how GREAT of a poodle name is Ruffael?! Amazing.

This was Ruffael's FIRST groom - we love doing puppy grooms in our space, because they're a great way to create a positive grooming association for your pup!

Currently, we only work one dog at a time, meaning your pup goes from bath to dry to clip with no crate drying or distracting neighbors.....and, of course, a little potty break between big activities for those little bladders! 😋

Merida is the definition of "peach fuzz" 😍 sometimes, it doesn't even take a full groom to find your pup's best hair day!

Mer got a face/feet/sanitary about two weeks ago, and this week, we treated her to a bath and blowdry to give her the BEST puff for the holiday weekend.

Love the puff but love those defined curls more? Don't worry! Her (or any poodle/doodle) curls will be back in full force just a few days after a bath/groom as her natural coat oils replenish - promise! 😉

A good s-paw day turns a Friday into a FriYAY! ✨️ We loved spending the afternoon with Cannon 😄

Because his parents love his fluffy look (and did a great job keeping up with brushing!), we gave mister man a 1" all-over, including some hand scissor work on his legs, feet and tail! His head, of course, also scissored to keep a "doodle-y" look while giving us a peek at those beautiful brown eyes 😍

I love how Percy has evolved from my little practice canvas to a whole artistic muse in the last 2 years! We love trying new styles and techniques on our baby boy.

Looking for a cut like Percy's? Percy has dense curly fur! His body was cut about 6 weeks prior with a 7F blade, and today, I gave him: a clean face shave, clean feet shave, and hand scissored top knot, ears (~1.5 in), tail (LONG!) + ankle puffs (~1.5 in.).

The clean face shave lets his expressive eyes and goofy grin take center stage, and the clean feet and ankle puffs keep his feet tidy adventuring in his new yard while avoiding the "skinny ankle" look his mom dreads!

hello! I'm Andrew - and this is Percy - and we're excited to meet new fluffy friends in Bloomington!

I started amateur grooming as a way to bond with my mom and our two family Standard Poodles, Gideon and Tori, in high school.

Fast forward a few years, my now-wife and I brought Percy home - and it was the beginning of a new adventure! I went from grooming in the garage on school breaks to brushing, combing, and styling Percy every week, and I realized - hey, I'd love to do this for other dogs, too!

Somewhere along the line, we ended up with ANOTHER poodle, Merida, and I took on a grooming apprenticeship working under a local groomer. Between the three - you can imagine I've had a lot of practice!

Now, I am so thrilled to be welcomed by the team at Wonder Dog Canine Club as their first groomer!

I'm looking forward to styling (and petting!) many local Bloomington dogs as I build the grooming side of the business - keep up with us on Facebook and Instagram (here and ) for a regular dose of puppy fluff, grooming tips, and before-and-afters!
