Christmas holiday brought drop ins for 3 cats, 3 dogs, 4 guinea pigs and one rabbit. I love the variety that this job brings.
Merry late Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
These piglets remembered me and let me have more interactions with them. I got to pet 3/4 of them and all would get close at times.

Coco was such a sweet cuddle bug guest. Just like her breed is known for, she always wanted to humans but put up with the other pups. Moody instantly took to her.

Occasionally I get to watch piglets too. I love the squeals of anticipation and excitement. A couple even let me pet them.

Dog day at the local farmers market. We met so many pups and our crew loved being together, too. They each got a pup cup to celebrate. (I had permission to share from the parents.)

Tater Tot had a peanut butter party before he left us for the rest of the year. It’s been weird not seeing him 5 days a week but I know his amazing dad will keep us informed.
Tot got to spend the day with his favorite 2 playmates and a newer playmate.

When your friend needs a last minute babysitter, you go. 🥰 Human babies are four-legged babies! 2 puppies, 1 senior pup and a puppy sitting pup, 1 kitten and an older cat. I felt right at home.

Gimli has visited twice recently. He is always ready to meet guests and make sure that the property is secure and dogs aren’t being too crazy.
On the way to the new house he got all excited when they got close to our old house but sad when they passed. Needless to say, he was all wiggle butts when he saw us at the new house. I love hearing stories like that.

These two won me over the first time they bolted through the door. I loved getting to watch the brother chase all the critters and the sister staying super close. They were absolute sweethearts.

Here’s our new yard. This video was taken shortly after we moved in but it shows the size and ability for pups and kids to play. The trampoline is up which the dogs seem to like even more.

I have struggled with explaining this to pet parents, especially when they are used to one or two dogs. This is the approach I take by instinct.

Catsanova was a complete gentleman during my drop in visits. He made sure I was welcomed and kept up polite conversation. He made sure my work was up to par and walked me to the door.

We try not to have favorites but sometimes they just steal our hearts from the start. Ducky(chihuahua mix) loved getting into arguments, especially if you tried moving him from a comfy spot. The second night we had a standoff when I tried putting him in the crate after the last potty. Had me busting up. Chi Chi would be proud.
Bear (Big Bear for us) especially loved puppies and was so very gentle. His mom didn’t think he would do well with dogs or food but he was practically a model guest. He can hold his own even with 3 legs.

I haven’t shared but but our pet care is going strong. I’m at like 170 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews on ROVER, thanks in large part to some of my regulars.
This was most of our morning crew today. Can’t wait until we can start spending more time outside.

Baron turned 1 today! We celebrated yesterday when he had some friends over. Doggie cake, goodies and new toys. He begrudgingly wore the bandanna. Love him to bits.

Ted woke up from a “dream” where he said he had a pile of dogs on him. Pretty sure that was reality since Aileea found 5 sleeping on the couch with him and others close. 🤣 Full house this weekend.

We loved having Marshall back this weekend. He’s such a character and has to be involved with everyone and everything and hates to be separated from his preferred people. He’s just so unique.

We have a full house of puppets again and it feels great! We’be been keeping our pack pretty small while the house is on the market but we’ll just make it work for a few weeks.

Miley is part kangaroo, I’m sure of it. The gates might as well just be a fun obstacle.
We tried counting how many jumps in a 5 minute window and that was too many to track.
