We had an amazing training session at Bass Pro Shops, and we couldn't be prouder of our furry friends: Liberty, Karma, and Frank! 🐾❤️

These incredible pups showcased their skills and made fantastic progress, proving that with love, patience, and the right training techniques, anything is possible.

🐶 Frank was a superstar, mastering his commands and impressing everyone with his focus and enthusiasm!
🐕 Karma showed off her incredible social skills, making new friends and demonstrating how much fun training can be!
🐾 Liberty worked hard on her leash manners, and her progress was truly inspiring!

A huge thank you to Bass Pro Shops for providing such a wonderful space for our training sessions. We love seeing our community come together to strengthen the bond between humans and their canine companions!

🎖️ Help Us Support an American Hero 🎖️

Meet Jason, a dedicated Army combat veteran who has bravely served our country across 7 deployments. As he navigates the challenges of life after service, Jason is working to train his loyal companion, Frank, through Devildog Canine. Frank will provide the support Jason needs as he heals and adapts to new circumstances. Having Frank highly trained can be the difference between life and death for Jason.

Recently, Jason faced an unexpected family tragedy, which led him to take in his adopted son, who is autistic and currently in college. With these additional responsibilities, Jason is struggling to afford the training for Frank. We are aiming to raise $3,200 for his training, and any additional donations will help support other financial costs for the family.

Our friends at Flanders Fields are stepping up to help cover some of the costs, but we need your support to make this happen.

Karma is being trained as a Therapy Dog in partnership with We Fight Monsters, and her mission is incredibly special: to bring hope and love to survivors of human trafficking and those on their recovery journeys. 💖💪

We are kicking off Devilpup Class 2502!

Liberty joins us for a 4 week boot camp as she pursues her aspirations of being a service dog. She belongs to a first responder and will assist him with his needs. While Liberty is here, she will work on her obedience and begin task training.

⚠️ New Trainer Alert ⚠️

It is with great excitement we announce the addition of Grace Tapp as a member of the Devildog Canine family!

Grace Tapp was born and raised in Eureka, Illinois, graduating from Eureka High School in 2022. Her fascination with the human brain and desire to understand why people think and act a certain way led her to initially pursue an education in Psychology.

After graduating, she began working at a doggy daycare franchise before transitioning to a managerial role with a locally owned doggy daycare facility. During this time, her love for dogs developed into a true passion. She gained a lot of experience in reading and understanding canine body language but realized that there was so much more to be learned about dogs & their behavior. This sparked Grace to pursue her dog trainer certification through Animal Behavior College, earning her certification in dog obedience. She also completed an externship with a local trainer, before working part-time as a kennel assistant, gaining hands-on training experience.

Grace lives with her dog, Scarlett who she initially fostered but ended up adopting. The relationship she has built with Scarlett has completely change her life for the better and created a desire to help others form that same deep bond with their dogs. Her belief is that everyone should be able to experience the love of a dog.

With her deep love, respect, and trustworthiness with dogs and ability to connect with canine and handler alike, Grace is a great addition to our Devildog Canine family!
