Our Horseback Riding and Driving programs typically include basic horse handling and horse care to better prepare those interested in ownership however horse ownership and long-term leases are not required. Additional options are available for those with tighter schedules or a desire to focus exclusively on riding. A solid foundation is essential for any equestrian including recreational riders to

provide safer experiences. We offer private and semi-private Horseback Riding Lessons in the three basic disciplines; Saddle Seat, Hunter Seat and Stock Seat (Western) for competition or pleasure in addition to Driving Lessons. Our programs emphasize “Thinking Horsemanship” (learning the how’s and understanding the why’s), a solid foundation of riding/driving skills and emphasize safety. We welcome all ages into our lesson program because we tailor our instruction to the individual; we have had clients from 18 months to senior citizens (all options not available for young children). In our lessons, you will learn much more than how to sit on a horse (or behind) and hang on. If you already know more than that, we still challenge you to develop your skills even while you decompress from a stress-filled life. Extra curricula activities and services include but not limited to invitational local trail rides, horsemanship clinics, coaching, tournaments, show services and other equine events. Please note: we offer horses for sales and long-term or event lease options but to protect the horses’ and *your safety* we do not offer horse “rentals”. For those interested in a horse rental we recommend a single lesson; if you are planning a couples, family, friend or group outing please call or email us to discuss special options! We also offer a Party Lesson Program available for Birthday Parties and Events.

In observance of Memorial Day, the ASHBA offices will be closed Monday, May 29. We look forward to serving the American Saddlebred and our members Tuesday, May 30.

Look at the conformation, fantastic slope of shoulder and ratio of length of back and neck. A croup and shoulder which support athletic ability of his legs. A very nice head which is hard to see with this halter. The ten year old photographer was practicing taking horse pictures.

and other winners. Consider sending your mare to Prince's court.

This past Friday was a beautiful day. One of our customers decided to visit a pasture where we had some of our school horses relaxing and grazing until a new body arrived. She snapped some candy shots of some of our lesson horses. We are thankful for our wonderful customers (breeders, buyers, lessees, lessons), past, present, future, and our wonderful horses.
