FDR got some loving today . This boy loves to cuddle . He was the only one from his litter to survive the ice storm we had a few months back .

I’ve decided to offer this buck . He was born March 5,2023 and is showable . He needs to decide to stop molting but this hot cold weather isn’t helping that.

We had a good turn out at Fort Worth livestock show and rodeo 2024 this past weekend . We will be back Thursday not personally showing but to help the youth . Took some class wins in Polish and French lops . Got some promising comments as well .

Well we have several Polish in boxes and starting to come out that will be ready to go the first of march . This is a small breed that are super sweet and like to be held .

Pulled a few rabbits out today to give them a good check over after our crazy wind storm last night . Several don’t know if they want to keep a winter coat or shed for summer .

We still have a female available that was born spring of 2023 . This will probably be the only French lop we have available until spring .

Just a reminder I do not sell my rabbits if they are going to be raised in a colony or in the same cage with another rabbit . I have seen to many rabbits get injury being raised this way . Also you can not monitor feed intake and it’s harder to prevent illness spreads housing them together . I know everyone has their own beliefs on this but the safety and health is my top priority for these animals . I have worked very hard to raising these animals and it’s hard enough trying to keep them alive with their own cage let alone houses with another animal . I don’t even cage breed my animals because I have seen a doe I personally raised casterate a male once while letting them breed in cage .

I think it’s great for them to have other rabbits around them just make sure they are cages separately please .

I have decided to let a show buck go to a new location . I can try to get pictures this evening or tomorrow . His two down falls are i fault him little in weakness in shoulder and he gets nervous when you first get him out of cage but calms down once you get him out . With more handling he should calm down I just don’t mess with them threw the summer because it’s to hot . Pm me for more details

We also have a few Polish available looking for pet homes as well . The Polish are for sure pocket bunnies , they stay small and love to be held where the French lops are for sure like the Great Dane of the rabbit breeds . They aren’t fans of being picked up .

We have been slowly taking rabbits out now that it’s cooling down some this week to clean cages , groom and trim nails . At this moment non of these rabbits are for sale but thought you guys would get a kick out of some bad hair days and some updated pictures .

Just an update on the rabbits . We have lost a lot of rabbits this year from the heat . We have done everything we can think of to keep them cool but it’s just to hot . So that being said the soonest I might let some bucks go would be February hoping we get some babies by then. But for right now we have to keep everything we have to try and build back .

So don’t freak out we decided to change the page name to our actual rabbitry name since we will be advertising both breeds we raise on here . If you don’t know my eldest daughter has taken a love to polish rabbits . This is a small breed of rabbit and for sure a pocket breed . We will still raise and show the French lops as well .

I will be pulling this guy from his litter this weekend if he dose good still he will be up for a new show home . I will be picky on who gets this buck because I want to see him part of a breeding and show program . Excuse his hair at the moment , his brothers think it is fun to chew on it since he still has his baby fuz coat . I would be personally keeping this buck if he didn’t already have 2 other brothers that look just like him and just a tad better then him . If I don’t relocate him I won’t feel bad keeping him along for awhile longer .

So my oldest daughter has decided to start raising and showing Polish rabbits . They are the total opposite of a French lop and max weight if fed properly is about 2.8 - 3lbs . They are your pocket rabbits for sure . We should have some solid blacks to let go in near future .

Show doe looking for a new location . She is 2 years old this spring and was in top of her open senior class this past show season . She had me a very nice litter last year and was a great mom . This year I have bred and bred her with no luck of her taking . I do have some beautiful babies coming up from her offspring so I’ve decided to let her go to make room for some upcoming babies .
