Theo is living his very best life at his new Guardian Home placement. His new mom sent this pic today of their walk and sends me the cutest updates on how good he is doing. This has been the best thing for Theo and we could not have asked for a better couple for him. They are just the sweetest and we are so grateful for them.
Theo has passed all of his preliminary OFA testing and looks like a fantastic stud for our program. His last litter was phenomenal so we are gearing up for another litter Spring 2025 with him.

Are you interested in a mini poodle but don’t want a puppy to train? Theo is our male poodle here at Smokehouse Puppies and we need a guardian home. He is potty trained, crate trained and enjoys cuddling. His new home must be within an hour of us and have a fenced yard. In exchange for keeping Theo at your home, we will cover most of the typical costs that come with a dog plus some bonuses along the way. 😁 We will borrow him for a day when he is needed and then he will be returned to you the same day. Nova, new name is Emma, went home today. We were blessed with an extra week of snuggles with her while her people vacationed. This week, these are the areas that we worked on perfecting….
🐾Sleeped in her crate 9:30pm-7:30am without needing to go potty. ✔️
🐾She knows the sit command ✔️
🐾She stayed in her crate with ease while we were away ✔️
🐾loves walking on a leash ✔️
🐾Enjoyed our twice daily car rides ✔️
🐾 Groomed twice to get her more prepared ✔️

We had a productive week.

Miss Nova HAS A FAMILY!!!!

We are pretty lucky to get to spend an extra week with her while her family is visiting Idaho. During this week we will continue with her crate raining, potty training and lots of socializing.

Miss Sapphire took a long 3.5 hour car ride today to join her family. This was her longest car ride yet and she did phenomenal!
We only have a couple puppies remaining. They are discounted and ready to find their families.

Emerald traveled 29 hours to North Carolina and she is finally home!! The transport company had to pick and deliver more than just her and they said she did fantastic and enjoyed the ride. Congratulations and enjoy this sweet girl, Joe.

Miss Opal went to Lowe’s today for some socialization, learned to sit in a cart nicely and calmed herself to lay down while I shopped. She is available and ready for a family.
