Horse blanket tags 🏷️ 💖. Don’t let your horse end up in the wrong blanket for the weather!! Years ago I was leasing an old schoolmaster and turned her out in the rain in February ❄️, I THOUGHT she had a waterproof turnout on but I accidentally put a stable blanket on her 🤦🏼‍♀️ poor girl was SOAKED TO THE BONE in freezing rain. I felt horrible!! It’s so hard to tell which blanket is which…that’s why these big embroidered labels are so great!!! (The Etsy shop is closed until tomorrow for updates 🙌🏻).

Some tags we’ve made over the past couple weeks! Available to purchase on Etsy.

Last stitches of Phoebe’s tag. A lot of work and love goes into making these tags. 1. The tag is designed via computer. 2. Design sent to machine 3. Stabilizer and webbing cut and mounted in hoop. 4. Machine threaded with proper color. 5. Machine stitches design- usually takes 10-20 minutes per tag. 6. Jump threads are cut by hand with very tiny scissors and tweezers. 7. Tag is sewn onto clip with regular sewing machine. 8. Tags sprayed with waterproofing spray. 9. Tags are packaged and sent! Now you know 🤣

Tags are made on a Janome MB-4S embroidery machine. “Jan” as she is affectionately known in our house, runs for hours everyday and is a workhorse!
