Attention potential dog adopters! Our dog kennels are full! We need some of these sweet pups to go home, so all spayed/neutered dogs are just $80 this Friday and Saturday! Do you want to take home a new best friend today? All spayed/neutered pets can go home with you at the time of adoption! We have several terrific dogs who are already fixed and ready to begin their new life out of the shelter (all other dogs may be adopted, but will need to be picked up after surgery).

Adoption hours are until 5pm Friday and 10:30-4:00pm Saturday. Don't miss out!

It’s Baby Season everywhere and WCR is no exception! 💕 We have all kinds of babies from orphaned kittens to mommas with full litters to orphaned wild baby bunnies in rehabilitation and everything in between.
And as much as we love all the adorable toe beans, chirps, and little cries here, we can use supplies if anyone can spare it! The cost to take in and raise litters is alot on us, but we want to continue to help! We also spay/neuter, microchip and handle all care on all domestic animals prior to adopting, so we can use any help you can spare!
Below is a list of items we need and can use! And you can always help sponsor a spay/neuter (average $40 each) by donating directly to our paypal , We are a 501c3 nonprofit and any donation you make is tax deductible.
✅kitten food (dry and wet)
✅adult cat food (any brand dry or wet)
✅Treats and nutritional supplements (lysine, folic acid, etc)
✅baby wipes
✅cleaning supplies (paper towels, cavi wipes, lysol, etc)
✅towels
✅blankets
✅laundry detergent and bleach
✅bottle feeding supplies (like syringes and ni***es)
✅formula
✅puppy pads
✅flea/tick medications (revolution, soresto collars)
✅dewormers (drontal, panacur etc)
✅kitten toys as the babies grow and to have new items on hand to put in their adoption packs
✅cat enrichment toys
✅toddler toys and teether toys
✅litter (we use tractor supply horse bedding pellets here as its better on budget and better for the environment over clump litter)

Now that 2022 is closed, we want to celebrate our "wins" with our community here at OCAS. ❤ These wouldn't have occurred without dedicated staff, adopters, volunteers, fosters, rescues, donors and transporters. Having the community's help is how we can achieve so much! So, thank you for being so supportive and caring.

Here's to hoping that 2023 is just as great! 📣

How can you help, you may ask:
1. Adopt - check out our wonderful pets and take one into your loving home!
2. Volunteer - many pets here benefit from having human interaction on a daily basis through dog walking, cat cuddling, laundry, and other basic needs.
3. Foster - foster kittens or other animals through our shelter to help save more lives!
4. Educate - if you cannot do any of the above, educating the public on spay/neuter of their pets and of any cat colonies is truly a blessing to the shelter as well.
