Happy Father's Day, to all the dad's out there!

It is with a heavy heart, that we tell you that the face of Bonafide Therapy Dogs Gil, passed peaceful late last night.
He lived at the senior living facility we call home to our training program.
He was at every training, and loved on every dog that was there. He had a job in letting all the residents know, when the dogs were coming and he took it very seriously.
Because of him and the other residents, we are able to get the dogs ready to go out in the world, and help make it a better place.
For me personally, it was a tremendous loss. He was a grandfather figure, and we became very close.
He liked to garden as well, so when I asked if he had a butterfly 🦋 garden and said no, I ran out and bought him milkweed, and educated him on the whole process. When the 1st butterfly came he was like a little kid.
I've always told students, some will be like having an extended family member. For me, he was family, and he will forever be loved and missed.
Both he and Henri will forever be together, and always remain the face of Bonafide Therapy Dogs.
Rest in Peace sweetie, our time together was short but so meaningful. Love on Henri for me! Xoxo 💔🐾🇺🇸

It's been 3 years today, since our beloved Henri passed away at the age of 3. He loved being a Bonafide Therapy Dog, and I'm sure he's looking down on all the teams, as we continue his legacy in helping those in need. Miss and love you ever day, sweet boy.🖤🤍🖤🌈

I ADORE this girl! ❤ This is 10 yr old Leilani, and her 9 month old puppy Prince. They started in our program first with completing their AKC S.T.A.R Puppy certification, and recently got their CGC (Canine Good Citizen Certification) and now need to finish 2 more levels, and some facility visits before becoming a Certified Bonafide Therapy Dog Team. She has such determination it's incredible. We are also giving her through her school, volunteer credits, and community service.
