She came to us with heartworm and an intense skin infection, both of which she has received top-notch medical care for. Bernie has never let this little bump in the road stop her from enjoying her newfound freedom.
Bernie is an active girl who loves to go on walks and play with any toy in sight! When it is time to relax for the day, you can find Bernie cuddled up next to her humans begging for belly rubs, or chewing on a bone. She will thank you with a big smile and unwavering loyalty! She takes weekly outings in public, rides great in a car, and is doing great socializing and working on a leash.
