🐶🌲 Our “Snowy Forest” morning: Forest Green left this morning! This sweet family told us they had heard of us through their long time friend & dog trainer last week after a long search to find just the right place to “get a dog for their dog”. Sadly their plans changed & they lost their beautiful dog Snowy suddenly last week. It was a beautiful thing seeing them meet & play with the pups as they made their choice. They got right down on the ground the cuddle & play with them, seeing the start of a bond is always such a gift. These moments are a huge part of why we do what we do & why we put so much effort into finding the perfect match for all our pups. I’m so glad we all found each other! A huge thank you to Kimberly Jones Minter & her amazing trainer for honoring us with such high praise. 🐾🤍❄️

Last night we bid farewell to our sweetest boy, Teal 🩵! We kept saying how amazed we were he hadn’t been snatched up yet & how he must be waiting for just the perfect family. We are so happy to say he found it! Through an amazing referral he has now found just the right match for him & his new family. We love these moments! This special puppers has so much love to give, I’m so glad he has just the right people to return it back to him. 🫶🏻🐾🐶

Little 💚 patiently waited over the long Thanksgiving weekend for his person to come for him & yesterday morning his wait was over! We were tickled to find out his new name is FINN!! His big sis Charly is from one of Odin’s prior litters & she is loving having him around & they are having fun pal’ing around. Such a good article. We often are asked about why we don’t spay or neuter our dogs/pups until after they’ve grown. As a breeder of large breed dogs they are much slower to grow & those s*x hormones play a vital part in their healthy development. By waiting until they reach physical maturity you are greatly decreasing their risks of joint disease & cancers, among other things. Bottom line: the old school train of thought to immediately get your pet fixed at age six months is no longer the rule of thumb. Consider your breed & the effects it will have on your pup before making your choice. 🖤

Often, the spay and neuter take place at a very young age for pets. However, studies have shown that this may not be the best age.

Our sweet lil French Fry! 💛🍟 She had a great pre-homecoming slumber party last week before Thanksgiving before her family had to leave town for the holiday. They got back last night & were able to pick her up for good! She seemed almost as excited as they were & she snuggled on in. We are going to miss you little girl! 🐶

There was more than the Thanksgiving Day Parade going on at our house Thursday morning! Piper 🩷 got picked up & flew to Arizona 🌵 to join her family & big brother Ollivander. Ollie came from Luna’s second litter & their family decided he needed a little sister! I grew up with the mama of this family & just love her to bits. We wound up in the same college town in Idaho when our oldests were born, & here we are 20 years later. Their family’s very golden came from back home as well from my sister Kristy back in the day! We love getting all of their videos & pupdates over the years. The last 4 pics are Ollie (now), Ollie as a pup, & Ollie with Colby their old man Golden before he passed. 💛🧡🤍

🖤 Maverick! This brave little polar bear 🐻‍❄️ made his flight to Seattle look like a cakewalk. He slept the whole way & was an absolute gem. When he got to his new home he got to surprise his new kids & they were thrilled to say the least! This guy is getting so much love. 🐾 11.17.23

As promised: Royal 💙 was adopted via the Bishop Kelly HS fundraising auction. A sweet local family adopted him & he’s been doing so great! Their college kiddos came home for the holiday break & smothered him with love & now are even more excited to come back home for Christmas. We love helping make all these sweet family moments happen! 😍🥹🐾🦃🎄

His arrival has been looooong awaited by his mama who held out on Luna’s final litter of red pups because she was so excited for this upcoming light litter. And now the waiting is over! Mr. 🧡 is happy and always wants to play and be your new bestest friend. Happy 8 week birthday puppers! They’ve started to fly the coop & we are going to miss the little fluffers. 💙❤️💜 have all left us so far. Mr. 💙 gets his very own future post for a special reason & you’ll see why. We love seeing our families connect with their pups & getting to stay in touch with them as they settle in and find their new homes. We never 🚫📦 ship our pups cargo, so when our families can’t fly here to pick them up we es**rt them to their destination & they fly main cabin with us. 💺 We are the most popular travelers in the airport, let me tell ya! 🧳🐶✈️ Other times our pups take a road trip to their new families. 🚗 Sometimes we get lucky & a friend of ours is heading that way or else we meet halfway. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏻 If you haven’t had a puppy as your navigator I highly recommend it. 🧭🐾
