From now until New Years, I'd love to switch things up with cover photos for our page featuring our beloved ISBR doggos.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for gift wrapping to help the dogs of ISBR!

We would love to celebrate the holiday season and wrap gifts with you during our Gift Wrapping event at the Boise Mall!

Join us December 7 & 8 from 11AM - 5PM as we help busy shoppers wrap their gifts and benefit the dogs of ISBR. We will have several "Ambassa-Dogs" like Thor ready to make everything joyful and festive!

TANZY IS LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME!
Tanzy is an approximately 6 ish year old girl who is just so dang sweet! Her foster said she bonds strongly with her people and is good with kids. We don’t know about her with cats. Once she gets adjusted to a new home I don’t think she’s a runner, but quite an escape artist at first. She gets along with my boys (dogs) and other dog at the dog park. Can be a little pushy at first with female dogs. When she is left along she does well but is with the dogs. She would probably do best at a home with another dog to keep her company.

BUDDY IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

This handsome hunk came to us from a shelter in California. An amazing foster family in Colorado generously offered to take him in and house him until a forever home could be found. This is what they have to say so far:

Buddy is the sweetest boy. It only took a week for this incredible giant to form a close connection with his foster. He went from figuring out his new surroundings to learning the routine and then coming over, leaning into me for love and pets, and looking into my eyes for connection . I love that he leans into me for love, and that's where he wants to be. If you want a constant companion, he's your man! He’s also very smart. He learned that cats and chickens were friends and not to be chased, in just one day. A strong cat-dog would have no issues with Buddy. Anything that involves being near his people he enjoys, outside in enjoying the yard and sunshine, taking short walks, going for rides (though you may need to pick up his rear end to get him in) or snuggling on the couch. – he would be your best Buddy. He would benefit from having someone who works from home or shorter hours (because he gets sad, will pace some and will bark and cry a bit when you're gone). He does great at night and sleeps like a baby when he knows you're near . He has done great with our respectful 4 and 6 year old children. Buddy gets along with both our male and female dogs and hasn’t started any issues with other dogs he's met. He is a big boy. He doesn't jump and sits on command. He is even doing incredible with “stay” as well. He walks almost too good on the leash. He doesn't pull and keeps his head right at your side, sometimes ON your side. He does drool a bit, especially after water, food or exsersion. We have mouth rags nearby, and that helps. He eats better when I stay in the room with him, which may change with time. He is gentle, loving, and looking to spend his last years surrounded by the same.

ABBY IS LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME!
Abby(formerly Aggie) was adopted but sadly had to be returned due to some personal issues in her adopter’s life.
Abby is approximately 5 years old ish, and does great with other dogs. **No cats ** She would do best with older kids and in a home that doesn’t have a lot of visitors running in and out.
Abby is a super goofy girl and loves her toys! She is also affectionate and likes to be involved in the goings on in the home 🥰 She would love another doggy play friend in her new home but it’s not a requirement. She can be a little nervous meeting new people but warms up fairly quickly.
