Eastex ASCA Show Recap from the weekend!
🚨 NEW CHAMPION 🚨 Monarch’s Doin’ Time finished the first show with a major awarded by SBJ Suzette Pendo! This handsome puppy finished his ASCA championship with just 3 weekends of shows and has only been maturing and looking better each time!
Felon is out AKC/ASCA CH Monarch’s It’s About Time (Zulu) and sired by AKC GCH/ ASCA CH Moonbaby’s All in the Details (Chrome). He represents a 3rd generation Monarch bred champion! A dream come true!
🚨 NEW CHAMPION 🚨 Monarch’s More Than A Feeling by Blue Meadow finished with a nice 5 point major Winners and Best of Opposite under SBJ DiAnna Williams.
Dixie moved up to the specials ring for the remaining shows and takes 💛💜 Best of Breed 💜💛 under SBJ Karen MacDonald and ❤️🤍 Best of Opposite 🤍❤️ under BJ Julie Ostberg and AKC Judge Cathy De La Garza! What a way to finish!!!
Congratulations to co-owner Jason Prickett on your first show dog and first champion! More fun times ahead with this special girl!
🖤🧡 VICTOR 🧡🖤 CH Monarch’s Art of War OTDsd AFTDd OFTDsm had a great first weekend out as a special as well taking 💜💛 Best of Breed 💜💛 under SBJ Suzette Pendo and Julie Ostberg and ❤️🤍Best of Opposite🤍❤️ under SBJ Karen MacDonald and the new Select Dog award under SBJ DiAnna Williams. Our specials ring got quite packed with I believe 8 or 9 specials by the end of the weekend, so we were very proud of this boy for holding his own after his return from stock training.
🖤🧡 JULIET 🧡🖤 Monarch’s Love Is A Smoke was shown by Taryn Michele and had a stellar weekend as well picking up her last two majors towards her championship under SBJ Julie Ostberg and AKC Judge Cathy De La Garza. Juliet was in the ribbons for two reserves as well under SBJ DiAnna Williams and SBJ Karen MacDonald
Congratulations to co-owner Elizabeth Elmo on your girl’s success this weekend! Just some singles to go!
Lastly, I can’t leave out the absolutely wonderful Brenley and her juniors accomplishments with Elvis and Whiskey!
Brenley went BEST JUNIOR with Elvis in 4/5 shows and Reserve Best one show for a great start to moving up an age division for this merit year.
She also competed in rally for the first time with Whiskey receiving a score of 196, first place in her class AND High in Trial Junior awards! I was very proud of how this team did handling the rally ring on some smelly dirt and her first time ever doing a trial…all while jiggling concurrent conformation show!
Beyond this, I can’t thank Brenley enough for all of her help with all of the things. Showing dogs, walking dogs, loading things, etc… She is a hard worker and never quits. Her future is bright this year and we can’t wait for her to do more performance events in addition to the regular juniors ring as we work to prepare for MVJ!
Overall, a great weekend and we are so thankful to the judges and the clubs for hosting!
