Strike had a stellar weekend. He picked up not only his first but also his second AKC MAJOR! At the Magnolia Cluster in Jackson, MS under Mrs. Beth Downey going Winners and Best of Winners.

As always, we want to extend gratitude to our wonderful handler Lauren McIlwraith for her beautiful presentation of our dogs.

Strike is sired by our handsome boy, Solo, out of Roulette. We are very happy with this cross. At just barely a year old, the three puppies that have shown so far (I have yet to show my personal keeper) are all major pointed! We can’t wait to watch them mature!

New AKC CHAMPION!

AKC/ASCA CH Monarch’s It’s About Time RN finished going Winners and Best of Opposite over a special for the last major to complete her championship at the Magnolia Cluster in Jackson, MS under Mrs. Beth Downey.

Zulu was expertly presented by Lauren McIlwraith and we are so thankful for her dedication to handling our dogs.

Zulu returned to the ring after a LONG hiatus. Almost 2 years! She whelped a beautiful litter in 2024 and came back out to pick up that last major her first weekend back! We are so proud of our sweet, cuddly and extremely biddable girl.

Monarch’s Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em was awarded a lovely four point major going Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Magnolia Classic in Jackson, MS under one of most lovely and pleasant AKC Judges, Mrs. Ann Yuhasz. Strike was beautifully presented by our wonderful handler Lauren McIlwraith.

Strike is co-owned with Mark Danuser & Sandra Gonzales out of our Solo and Roulette litter.

Our beautiful Envy also showed at the AKC National Championship in Orlando where she was awarded 1st place in Bred by Exhibitor Adult and made the final cut to the Top 3 in Winners.

We are always honored to be standing in the ring and holding our own with long standing kennels and breeders that have contributed decades to the breed. I am humbled by where my journey in dogs has taken me in such a short amount of time.

We may not have walked away with the big win, but I walked away inspired by what the future holds, knowing that I see progress and my vision coming to life with each year we remain committed to our goals.

Catching up from an amazing week in Orlando where dreams came true with a NEW CHAMPION!!

Monarch’s Born Bad at Blue Meadow finishes in style going Winners in a very competitive entry under Pamela Bruce at the concurrent Australian Shepherd Club of Central Florida specialty of Brevard Kennel Club in Orlando expertly presented by Lauren McIlwraith!

We knew Cruella was something special and pulled her from showing back in April to give her the opportunity to shine. Her first day back in the ring was on Tuesday at Space Coast Kennel Club where she was awarded Reserve Winners at the concurrent specialty under Jon Cole. A little bit naughty in all the excitement of returning to the ring at such a big event and well…living up to her name 😂

The next day, she settled down and was on fire! Lauren handled her beautifully and we could not be more thankful for her and the judges that found Cruella in such a beautiful lineup.

Monarch’s Belle of the Ball had a blast showing with me for the first time at Conroe Kennel Club this past weekend taking Winners B*tch for her first major on Saturday under Denise Dean and Reserve Winners under Vicki Sandage! Not bad for this puppy girl!

Belle is co-owned and loved by Liz Holden Bell with TXS Bells Australian Shepherds. We are excited to watch Belle’s future as she matures!

On Friday she was awarded Winners and Best of Winners. On Saturday, she followed up with another Winners and stayed in the ribbons on Sunday with a Reserve Winners!

We decided last minute to show the baby boy in 6-9 month puppy while en route to his new home with Mark & Sandra, and he won not only WD under SBJ Summer Jewel Fuls for his first ASCA points, but RWD twice as well! So happy!

Thank you so much to Lindsey Heins for showing him in the classes and in winners dog! She did a fabulous job handling a puppy at his very first dog show, the ups and downs of learning the ropes and standing for strangers.
