This is why you are looking for a pet sitter rather than sending them off to a kennel or leaving them alone for extended periods of time. You will have so much peace of mind leaving them with someone who will love them just as you love them. Prior to the first service, I will conduct an initial consultation with you and your pets. This lets me get acquainted with you and your pets and ensures your

comfort in having me take care of your precious fur babies. All pets must be healthy and up-to-date on all shots. All pets must be free of ticks and fleas. You must make an appointment to come to my home with your pets before their stay, to make sure they are fine with my two small breed animals, and you are satisfied with the accommodations. In home visits: Each visit is approximately a 1/2 hour to an hour. We’re not one of those fly in/fly out services. Services includes outside play time, feed and water as instructed, walks, brushing, medication, pick-up after pets, and lots of love. We secure the home, open/close blinds or drapes, turn lights off/on, pick up mail and newspapers, and take the trash out. You decide how many visits a day and when. Don't like leaving your pets at the groomers all day waiting to be groomed, and then even longer until you get off work? We'll drop off your pets, pick them up, and deliver to you. If you can't get them till after work, we will take care of your pets until you arrive. Overnight stays are great. I have two small breeds pets that will love to have company while you are away. I have been dealing with the illness of a very close friend for the past couple of years. She passed away on March21, 2024. I am still dealing with her paperwork and her burial, but I wanted to stop and say that I am ready to start Pet Sitting once again. Just leave me a message or PM me if you need a sitter. A Circus of Dogs

They can be small as a flea or large as a cow—

There's the yellow lab, fur silky smooth
that lay in piles on the floor, dinner for the
pet vacuum that will whir across the floor
of Labrador fur at the end of the day.

She tongue-sponges my face with eternal
joy and her devotion seeps deep in the
sweet eyes of Gracie, the perfect pup
that gives everyone she meets so much love.

She sits beside the toy poodle looking
ever the giant she is and Bodhi low-grrrrrs
his displeasure at having his space
intruded upon.

His curly black hair, silky to the touch,
contrasts with Gracie’s like ebony and ivory.
In full Bodhi style, he slinks off to his corner
with a big huff, curls into a ball to dream.
His snores echo quietly with a slight whistle,
the sound of comfort and home.

Gabi, the tiny Yorkie sits quietly in the corner,
head low, shoe-button eyes downcast,
avoiding the ever-watchful Barrett, the teddy
bear of German Shepherds, wishing fervently
that she be invisible among these giants.

With a small whimper, she pleads to be
picked up, to keep her safe. I draw her into my
arms where she curls up under my chin, her
ears to my heart after first giving me a slushy kiss. ​

And what, after a long day with a circus of dogs
do I long for besides a quiet moment with a
nice glass of wine?

The low-pitched moans of a happy puppy and the
sigh and groan of contentment from another. That
makes me smile. Oh, how I love these simple days!

My baby girl, Gabi, will be crossing the rainbow bridge soon. She is in kidney failure. I’m so going to miss this little girl. I just got out of the hospital, so have to recoup a few days. I’m spending a lot of time with her right now giving as much love as I can.

if you have contacted me to take care of your pets and set up a time to drop off and pick up, please don’t have your phone silenced on the day that you’re supposed to drop off or pick up. I always send a confirmation either a day or two earlier or on the same day just to make sure that you will be here. If your phone is silenced, I can’t get through. I know all our time is very valuable. I respect your time; please respect mine. Thank you for being understanding. Love to all my pet parents.

There is a “Clear the shelter event” in SW Florida till Monday. It’s the ultimutt time to adopt a large breed dog for $25. A pup-tacular time to bark for the pup you always wanted.
