I received my bantam polish eggs from crafty coop yesterday morning and just set them🤗 Crafty Coop has been such a huge help she is so kind and will answer any of your questions and have beautiful birds. I highly recommend.

3 weeks ago I would have never thought I would have a dog that was so attached to me until I got my own house and bought my own dogs. Then akaida came along. She instantly bonded to me and now she follows me everywhere and literally hops into my arms when I come home. She is one of the most perfect dogs we ever owned.

Today was a good day 🦚 growouts got to go outside for the first time. I finished the peacock run so they are able to go outside (just need to add 3 more tarps. My mottle breeding pen got to explore outside in their run. I feel cleaned the brooder/breeding shed shifted birds around so now I have 3 empty cages to use. Sold some birds. It was a great day! Birds enjoyed the sun. PS—-> no birds are dead in these photos they just enjoyed the sun that much

Today was so long but exciting!!!! I got 6 chicks cuckoo mottled and chocolate mottled and 4 juveniles 1 blue cockerel 1 cuckoo cockerel 1 Millie split cockerel and 1 Millie pullet. All thanks to Brier Hill Cottage!!!! I also picked up a New Guinea hen for breeding. With all these new birds I think I have enough to make 3-4 more color pens!!!! I also came home to find out my copperfield hen is starting to lay!!!! Tysm Helen for the lovelies I’m so excited for the near future!! I also moved all my new layers out to the coop to be introduced to the current rooster and layers.

If you ever wanted to know what a quitting egg looks like, here it is. This was the only egg I had out of my mottled boy before I had to cull because he shattered his hip. (Don’t mind the temp it is not calibrated correctly so I have to have it run higher then usual to get it to correct temp)

Raising chickens and peafowl takes a lot of time and energy. They require a lot of resources and land. So please think twice about starting to raise birds and do research on the specific breed requirements and needs you are looking into. With this it may take some time to respond to messages and inquiries about my birds. I will happily answer any and all questions you have no matter how simple or stupid you think the question is. Remember no question is ever a stupid question. Better safe than sorry. Now let's get into the main purpose of this post. Firstly, I reserve the right to hold back any chicks I think will help my breeding programs. I can promise that you get chicks, but not when, or how long that will take. I am a small farm who focuses on preserving breeds and meeting (ethically) the SOP. I also reserve the right to refuse sales and withdraw from sales at any point before you arrive at my farm or I ship out to you. I will use my best judgment to decide if you are ready for my birds. I may ask to see your coops or brooder set ups. I require a down payment that is non-refundable if you ask me to hatch out chicks or raise any birds you may wanna buy in the future. The reason for this is because it takes time and money to be able to do these things and provide the healthiest birds possible to you. Prices on birds may fluctuate depending on feed and bedding prices.
