Some devastating news on the farm this weekend. While at work yesterday we had a breaker blow for the rabbit barn and we lost almost our entire crew of bunnies. We have 4 holding on as of right now but it will be a long journey for these ones. They are currently inside our house right now being monitored closely as we investigate and repair the electrical issue as well as clean out the barn.

Four little French lops in the house! I have never had an issue with Mortica but everyday I have gone out and she has kicked babies out and just isn't feeding them. I am hoping it's been all the storms we have had (3 of them had hail in them). Going to try and see if she will feed them today and try to do like I do in the winter bring them out for feeds and then bring them in the house. Wish me luck they all took a good syringe feeding last night.

Update on Millie: she has recovered (long slow road and still having some problems) from surgery but the did also find a tumor and we are waiting to find out if she has cancer or not.

Well we are having another set back on our little farm our little Millie is going to have surgery next week. They found a very large bladder stone! It's going to be expensive and I am wrapping my head around what to do. Millie is important to my husband she is one of the two dogs that are his companions and seem to know when he needs loves and cuddles when he is having a bad day. One of the reasons we have really slowed down on the farm is John was diagnosed with parkinsons disease a few months ago and I have been trying to figure out how to make work, caring for John and still having the rabbitry work. I do have some rabbits bred that are due in April!
