🎉 6 week checkup this morning, everyone is healthy! These babies are the biggest we’ve ever had at 6 weeks old, some are pushing 12 pounds (males and females)! Looking for their new families! 🐾🩷💙🐾

Everyone’s over 8,9 & 10 pounds at 5 1/2 weeks old, except Grey boy~ 7.2 pounds! AKC registered, 8 looking for their new families! 🐾 Long ears, wrinkles & everyone is healthy! Shots and 6 week checkup Monday!

Due to seeing dogs offered for re homing ~ Friendly reminder~ If you plan to purchase a bloodhound puppy, PLEASE do your homework. I don’t think there’s anything cuter than a bloodhound puppy, they’re adorable, snuggle and play! They DO become full of energy as they’re growing! Remember, your 1 year old PUPPY is going to be large, but you have to remember it’s still a puppy! Erica purchased a puppy 3 years ago from us (she had the stud dog) she’s spent time and worked with Riot (the puppy) and now he’s a search and rescue dog! I would love to see more of our dogs become S&R for all the missing children & people. I made my fair share of mistakes with my first one, the list could go on with what I did wrong, but here’s a few tips that helped me tremendously as we grew!
🐾 Crate Train- this saved our lives! My girls don’t live in them, they run in the large fence, but when they come in, they go straight to their crates with a treat, they sleep until I say it’s time to come out ( unless someone has to potty). If they’re in while I’m gone, they’re in a crate. I’ve only had one have an accident in her crate EVER. Don’t get me wrong , after I wash them down there’s many days they get to pile up and snuggle with us.
🐾House breaking- they take a bit, use your crate and take them out, once they get it they’ve got it! Since getting it, mine have never had an accident in the house, but God be with us during the housebreaking 😂 .
🐾Exercise- if it’s too hot for a walk, mine love to fetch sticks or balls! 10 minutes and they’re happy!
🐾They shed!! They shed so much I wonder how they still have hair! I run a sweeper in the house everyday. Who doesn’t need to though?
🐾YES they slobber! I don’t suggest wearing black if you plan to be around them before leaving. Keep a towel in your pocket and wipe their mouth.
🐾Make it clear YOU’RE the boss! My husband is a big play toy for them, no one listens to him, because he doesn’t make them mind…but he sure loves them. At the end of play time, they’re looking for me- they like their pattern and feel of security.
🐾Counter Surfing- an absolute NO, firmly. Mine still try it, but they get down immediately.
🐾If you want a cool dog, with the ears, wrinkles and jaws….these are the best! Just remember what comes with them, because dogs are our family!
Bloodhounds have been the best dogs I’ve ever had! I think if you survive the first year, you’re in for amazing fun & love!
With all that said~ We have 9 puppies left!! AKC
