Hi everyone!
I want to introduce my mule for the Missouri Mule Makeover/Ozark Mule Days 2022, Aslan!
This is is first time with a saddle on.
He didn’t offer a single buck at any speed.

Ground work is important, it sets the foundation for things to come.
I didn’t start the process by saddling him the first time we worked together, I started with the rope over his back, then the surcingle, then the pillow pack… etc.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned competing in the makeover these past few years, has been to never rush and skip steps, just because I have a time frame.
If you have 5 months, or 5 years, take your time, make sure the animal is comfortable, and understands what you’re asking of it.

Introduction posts coming this week!!

🌵Welcome to Bar G Equine!🌵

I currently do not train for the public, but hope to do so in the future.
For now, this page is dedicated to sharing my journey with my mules, and giving everyone a behind the scenes look at my 2021 Missouri Makeover mule, Florence.
