Maple has been enjoying her new life to the fullest. She loves attending tennis matches with her new family, soaking up all the pets, and meeting new people. She can now walk a couple of blocks without assistance, showing incredible progress and determination.
Maple’s favorite pastime is basking in the sunshine on the deck, a simple pleasure she may not have experienced before. Her playful energy shines through the afternoons, even though walking isn’t her favorite activity. She prefers jumping and chewing on things, always keeping her family entertained.

Welcome Trillion!
We are delighted to introduce Crinkle, aka Trillion, to Bulldog Haven! This charming English Bulldog is estimated to be between five and seven years old.
Her foster parents have shared that she has the funniest personality and even hops when she’s excited – it’s the cutest thing they’ve ever seen! 🐶💕
Crinkle/Trillion is currently receiving care for her skin issues, which might be allergies. Her amazing vet is on the case, and despite her fur being in rough shape when she arrived, she is making progress. Her foster dad is doing a fantastic job giving her baths every few days, and she handles it like a champ.
We are so excited to have Crinkle/Trillion with us and can’t wait to see her continue to thrive in her loving foster home.

Recently Hearts of Gold partnered with Bulldog Haven NW to share awareness on our foster dogs and we wanted to share their amazing artwork with you! You should recognize the dogs and our pups in foster care and those that were recently adopted! We thank them for caring about our homeless pets
How does this work?
When an event is up and coming, they contact various teachers. The organization must have the principal’s permission to work with the teachers and their classrooms. They also reach out to Shelters and Rescues across the US (and sometimes outside of it) to help dogs and rescues in need. Kids from 2nd and 4th grades in Washington state worked with Hearts of Gold by using pet profiles from BHNW and turned them into art.
This amazing organization helps bring awareness to Animal Shelters and Rescues that are overwhelmed and underfunded.

I am a lopsided, zig-zag dog. One ear up, one ear down. Half English Bulldog, half French Bulldog. My Bulldog butt is always zig-zagging by wiggling back and forth, always happy with my zig zag ears. With my big zig-zag personality, I should be the only pet and would love lots of pets from boys or girls 10 and up. I wish for my perfect zig-zag home and a sofa all my own with my humans to love me and give as much attention as I can get.
I would like to be the only pet in your home, I don't like sharing attention or food with anyone, except maybe what you're eating!
I love children, but older ones may be best for me as I'm a bull in a China shop sometimes.

Bandito is ready for his fur-ever home!
We think Bandito is such a cool character! He’s six years old and 71 lbs. A big guy who's all bully and would do best with a previous bulldog owner.
He’s a strong guy who does not like cats but does like little dogs. It might be a slow intro, but we think he’s a great big brother. He’s got all the usual skin issues that a white bulldog can have and will need medication, baths, special food, and monitoring for his whole life, but he’s worth it! Older kids would love rolling around with this guy.

Little Daisy Penelope had emergency surgery this week. This poor little girl had a Mammary tumor rupture and got an infection. While she was there, she was also spayed.

Calypso was surrendered to one of our shelter partners after 30+ hours of labor and a required c-section. Thankfully everyone came through fine!.
Their foster mom has given them the most Epic names:
Homer-who was the author of the Odyssey (we’re calling him Homie), Zeus-god of all the gods, and Circe the enchantress, who turns men into pigs if they make her mad! pronounced Sirsee.
