🌈 Remembering Hulk 🌈

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Hulk crossing the rainbow bridge. Hulk spent over two years in foster care, where he underwent double TPLO and double entropion surgeries shortly after arriving at BHNW. Despite his lengthy rehab, Hulk’s spirit remained unbroken.

Hulk saw many fosters come and go, always getting along wonderfully with his foster mom’s pug and showering her kitties with love. He was always ready for fun and silliness, bringing joy to everyone around him. Hulk had a special bond with his foster dad, never missing a chance to snuggle up and bark excitedly whenever he came home from work.

He loved watching cars go by and barking alongside his one-eyed pug foster sibling, wiggling his little tail nub until his last breath.

Hulk’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Run free, sweet boy. 💔🐾

Meet Money Penny, a three-year-old, sweet 35-lb pocket bully with a heart as big as her cuddly personality. This mellow and good-natured girl adores going for walks, car rides, and spending time with her human companions.
Money Penny is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. She’s a champ when it comes to her daily eye medication and loves nothing more than snoozing under her foster mom’s desk while she works. When she wags her stubby tail, her entire lower half joins in, wiggling with joy!

She’ll be ready to find her forever home soon, so interested adopters should submit their applications now to meet this special girl.

Welcome Kuma to BHNW!

Kuma is a charming 3-year-old French Bulldog with a heart full of love and a zest for life! This smart and happy pup adores spending time with people and thrives on human companionship. He's a social butterfly with dogs outside the house, though he's still learning the ropes when it comes to sharing food, water, and toys with other dogs at home. Being an only child in his previous home, Kuma would appreciate a little guidance in this area.

Kuma loves being around people and will quickly become your shadow. He's great with dogs during outings, though he's working on his sharing skills at home. As a big, strong boy, Kuma thrives in an active environment and would do best with adults and children aged 8 and up who can match his energy.

Kuma has experienced seizures in the past, but they are well-managed with medication given twice daily. He also needs to shed a few pounds to improve his breathing and overall health, with an ideal weight of under 30 pounds to keep him comfortable and happy. While Kuma may take a little time to adjust to a new home and can feel anxious in the car, with patience and love, he'll soon feel secure and at ease.

🐾 Bunny is ready for her FUR-EVER home! 🐾

Meet Bunny, a gentle and playful Frenchie who just wants to be next to her humans. She is a low-key girl, happy to take long walks (when it isn't raining) or nap all day on the couch — and everything in between.

Bunny does fine while home alone but does not do well in a crate or restricted to a room with a closed door; she prefers to roam free. She is largely housebroken and uses her puppy pads if she can't make it outside, though she still has an occasional accident. We're working on it! Bunny enjoys other dogs, cats, and people and would just love to be in her forever home snuggled up with a chew toy

If you're looking for a very sweet, calm girl who will be your little shadow, Bunny would be very happy to fill that role.

🐾 Welcome to Bulldog Haven NW, Oreo! 🐾

Meet Oreo, a 2-year-old male English Bulldog who is as sweet as his namesake! Weighing in at 50 pounds, Oreo is full of McFlurry energy and wants to be your shadow. He'd be thrilled never to leave your side.
While Oreo's favorite thing is attention, he is slowly learning to accept some time alone. He is a fabulous leash walker and isn't fazed by neighborhood dogs. He is curious about his foster family's cats, but they have not met yet, so there is more to come. He treats the kiddos like he does any human.

Oreo is looking for a family who can continue his training to be the best dog he can be. His foster family is working on basic skills training, including not using barking as an attention-seeking device. He is treat-motivated and continues to improve with crate time. He is mostly house-trained with infrequent accidents.

Oreo does have an obsession with water and does better, given small amounts of water at a time. Despite this quirky trait, Oreo would love to be part of your cookie collection! 🍪

Oreo will be in foster care for a little while, but keep your eyes open for this special boy to move to the adoptables page.

🐾 Welcome to Bulldog Haven NW, Pina Colada! 🐾

Hello! My name is Pina Colada. I am a pretty girl of almost 3 years old, and I’m a beautiful brindle-colored English Bulldog looking for a fun-loving family to be your one and only!

Being with my people is the best! Wherever they are, I want to be there with them. Going to the mailbox? I can walk with you! Sitting at your desk working? I'll lay beside you, with the occasional interruption of begging for a pet or two.

Watching TV? I'll cuddle with you! I have tons of affection to shower on you. And if you rub my belly, we will be friends forever! Speaking of TV, I have a terrible habit of chewing remotes or game controllers that are just lying around. So, if you are trying to train your kids to put them away, I can show them what happens when they don't. However, don't let them retaliate by vacuuming—I don't like the vacuum very much.
I am well-behaved and know simple commands. I even sit while you serve my food and wait until you tell me to go.

Sometimes, if I get really excited, I forget I'm not supposed to jump on people, but I listen well when you remind me not to do that. I just want to get closer to receive more pets! My jumping does come in handy, though when getting into the car. Once I am buckled in, I ride very quietly on the seat. I am also potty and crate-trained and sleep nicely in my crate at night.

I can be a bit silly too. Just recently, I was heading outside and forgot there was a storm door and kept pushing my head against it trying to get out. Fortunately, my foster mom opened that door for me.

Additionally, I will soon be undergoing cherry eye surgery to ensure I’m in the best health possible. After that, I'll be ready to find my forever home! Adopt me; I will fill your life with love, cuddles, silliness, and companionship.

Meet Doug, a sweet and playful 2-year-old English Bulldog who's ready to fill your home with love and laughter! Weighing in at 59 pounds, Doug loves to play tug with a rope and enjoys spending time with other dogs and kids.

Doug is a huge fan of snuggling and will happily sit in your lap for some quality cuddle time. While Doug is an affectionate, friendly companion and fully potty trained, he does need to see the vet to take care of his eyes, and we're keeping a close eye on his health. Stay tuned—once Doug feels 100%, he'll be ready to find his forever home!

Maeby is ready for her Fur-ever home!

Maeby has a special place in her heart for kids, especially her 10-year-old human brother. She's fantastic with him, enjoying his playful antics, but when she's had enough, she'll let him know with a few barks before seeking comfort by your side. However, she hasn't yet been exposed to children younger than 10. with her signature bulldog vocalizations that let everyone know she's ready to socialize!

Curious and slightly cautious, Maeby takes her time investigating new things around the house. She's a connoisseur of scents and insists on sniffing out every corner-after all, how else can she ensure that everything smells just right? A true foodie at heart, she's particularly fond of cheese and never misses a dose of her allergy meds to keep her feeling her best.

Initially, we were informed that Maeby wouldn't do well with other dogs. However, after three months of carefully sniffing out our other dog, Dolly, Maeby adjusted beautifully and now doesn't pay much attention to her furry sibling at all!

Recently, Maeby underwent a crucial surgery on her leg, a procedure that was necessary to ensure her long-term health and mobility. The surgery was a significant milestone for her, and we're thrilled to share that her recovery went exceptionally well! She's back to bounding around the backyard with infectious energy, especially when it comes to playing football. Just don't expect her to return the ball-she's more interested in keeping it for herself!

Get ready to fall in love with Maeby, the delightful bundle of personality packed into the stout body of an Olde English Bulldog! With the charm of a golden retriever (in small doses), she's a true people pleaser who thrives on affection. Maeby is always looking for a friendly hand to pet her, and she'll greet you with her signature bulldog vocalizations that let everyone know she's ready to socialize!ted in keeping it for herself!

Occasionally, dogs come to BHNW with end-stage health issues or very late in their senior years. Although our goal is to place dogs in adoptive homes, there are times when dogs are too far along in life or diagnosed with a terminal illness, and it is not in their best interest to be moved again. In these cases we want to keep them comfortable, their care stable, and under the BHNW umbrella for their lifetime. These dogs live their lives out in the homes of dedicated BHNW volunteers who know the gift they are giving is priceless.
