One of my absolute favorite things about breeding season is holding these new foals while momma’s are getting checked. Teaching them they can rely on me and trust me. The first week of life is so important. Letting them know we are friends not foe. Little 4 day old Orchid ended up taking a nap on me. Gotta love that new baby smell!

It’s Official! Apache Do High Country will be international. In the coming weeks we will be shipping 10 doses of frozen semen to Germany! Congratulations to owners Ronald and Nancy Knaack for breeding such a quality horse. This marks a new chapter for breeders in Germany. Opening up new breeding lines and promoting excellent gait and color. Apache will now be offered to the entire EU and many other countries. Mangalarga Marchador Breeders Registry will be adding more stallions available internationally

Awesome to meet some new friends from Denmark, Nathali and Lilly. They got to ride two of the best ambassadors of the breed. Nathali rode Apache Do High Country and Lilly rode Cafundo Mona Lisa. So much fun. can’t wait for them to come back and ride again this week. Huge thank you to Ronald M Knaack at High Country Archadors and Jean Allred at Monarch Marchadors for letting us use your magnificent Marchador Horses.

Sirocco De Los Cielos has finally arrived here at the ranch. It was a long wait but well worth it. He will make an excellent addition to our herd. I will post some better photos once this darn rain ends!
