Update on Otis.
He is just about up to weight and enjoying the good life. Just starting to ride him, to see what he knows. So far is a gentle soul that loves attention and enjoys the work. In the video below, he is having a play date with our neighbors 4 yo. mixed arab. "Barley and Otis playing in the water. This is Barley's first swim, obviously, not Otis's!

Otis met the Vet. He was given all is shots, and is about 600 to 800 lbs underweight. He is eating 18-20 lbs of grain and supplementation a day. He is no longer wobbly. When he first arrived, you could push him over with your hand. Not anymore! He is a sweet, sweet guy and loves his people! And his stall! He likes the ladies in the next field a little too much and the presiding gelding, Huey, doesn't like it. He was ridden at the walk for the first time this week. What a majestic ride!
