Tonight for the fifth year in a row we graciously received Inside Columbia magazines Best Dog Daycare and Boarding. It takes absolutely the most amazing team to accomplish something of this magnitude. 3 locations, 4 of the most talented incredible managers who are simply rockstars. 21 awesome dedicated part time employees. All working 365 days a year 7 days a week to provide your pets the best in the Midwest!!!

For 80 years, the Central Missouri Humane Society has been a lifeline for thousands of animals in our community—offering love, shelter, and second chances to those who need it most. Now, it’s our turn to be their lifeline.

Their current building is literally falling apart. It’s outdated, unsafe, and quickly becoming unusable—which puts the future of their life-saving work at serious risk. But there’s a beacon of hope: a $2.5 million matching gift has been pledged to help build them a brand new facility... if they can raise that same amount by the end of this month.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ensure CMHS can continue its mission for decades to come. Let’s rally around this amazing organization. Share this message far and wide. ❗️BARKING NEWS❗️

An anonymous donor has stepped forward with a bold challenge: a $2.5 million matching gift to the Central Missouri Humane Society’s “Give Them Love” capital campaign. Every dollar donated between now and July 31st will be doubled, up to $2.5 million, with the goal of raising $5 million in just one month!

This is a huge step to getting a much needed new facility and a safe place for the pets in our community to call home!

I am so proud to share that after our surprise inspection by Missouri Department of Agriculture, we passed with flying colors!! You may not be used to seeing inspection reports from Dirty Hairy’s but as part of the Creekside Pet Center and Mid Mo Dog Boarding family we have always shared our reports from day one for ten years. Trusting someone to watch over your family isn’t easy, as dog owners and lovers ourselve, we understand that. Transparency and honesty are incredibly important, so you’ll always get to see our inspection reports!
Our team at Dirty Hairy’s is amazing working 365 days a year 7 days a week to make this happen and I’m so incredibly proud of them. The love and care they give to your pup during their stay is unbelievable!!

Thank you Boonville and thank you Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce! You showed up and showed out for our Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting and Open House today!! We are so honored and so humbled to hold our ribbon cutting and really introduce ourselves. 10 years of owning Creekside Pet Center as a local small family run business we’re excited to expand to Boonville and keep Dirty Hairy's Dog Boarding and Grooming running non stop 365 days a year for 25 years. We could not do this without our 3 amazing teams, 4 brilliant managers and 25 employees! They are the backbone of what we do and we’re proud to employ them all! Keep an eye out for continual updates, improvements, and new services!!

Does your pet enjoy a calm stroll more than a game of fetch? Prefers taking in the sights and smells of nature? Our new Lakeside Walks add-on might be just what they need! For just $15 extra, your pet can enjoy a peaceful, 15–20 minute one-on-one walk with a member of our boarding staff around our scenic onsite pond. Lakeside Walks are available with all our boarding services and can be added to your reservation over the phone, at drop-off, or through our parent portal!
