My little cowboy π€ β€οΈ You'll never know how much I love you Austin π
Working with Atha & Brynn π As I mentioned in the video, the main goals were getting Atha to back off the reins and learn to move off your leg. I will be posting additional videos so you're able to see where we started. He made incredible progress in a short amount of time!
I currently have 4οΈβ£ training spots available! Boarding is available as well ππ

This is a greenbroke mare that I was working with previously. I really saw the benefits of free walking with her. I know its not the most exciting video lol, but it does show you the basics.
I like to let horses I'm working with free walk after, and typically before a ride. The βfree walkβ is a pace of relaxation and freedom.
Benefits to free walking:
-Encourages your horse to relax and release tension.
-Increases your horseβs stride length.
-Improves the flexibility
-Prevents your horseβs muscles from becoming stiff and fatigued (which can happen if you ask him to work in the same frame for long periods). This is especially important for Western Pleasure or eventing horses.
-Provides your horse with an enjoyable reward for their efforts.
I have 2οΈβ£ training spots left open in July!

This was a rescue mare who I had in training. I was told she had 90 days under saddle, but they were unable to get her to canter. This was my first ride on her, and we were successful! Woohoo! She did so great!

This student of mine, Ava, has come leaps and bounds from where she started when she first came to me. At first CeeGee would push her around and try to lead her instead of the Ava leading CeeGee, and that was with a leadrope. Now look! This is after about 5x practicing groundwork. Now, this video shows an almost finished product, but not all the steps in between. I will be creating videos on all those steps in the coming months so you too can achieve these results π
If you're just starting out with groundwork, this is a pretty good article on where to start:

If you notice some tightness in CeeGee's movement, she has arthritis, and this type of exercise has been cleared by a vet ππ

This little lady is not only gorgeous to look at, and sweet as could be, but she also has beautiful movement! I see so much potential in her.
Her Sire, VS Flatline is in the top 5 AQHA Western Pleasure stallions and her Dam has impeccable breeding. She's going to be a big girl at around 16+H with a nice wide chest with a great big hip, just how I like them π! She'll be a great all-arounder for sure.

Thank you again Jeannine Miller for letting us come out to look at your gorgeous foals πππ

This is a mare I had in training until she was adopted a few days ago (woohoo! ππ). It was her 4th ride with me. This is a quick, on the spot video of some decensitizing that I like to do with any kind of whip, especially with green horses. One thing I would like to make clear is when I said "it's not just to hurt them", I meant that as a general stigma many people have around whips. If used correctly, it should NOT hurt them.
A dressage whip is intended to be used as an additional aid and should be used to reinforce your leg aids, and occasionally to tap their shoulder/s if they have trouble dropping them like this mare did. We began our ride like this so by the time it actually came to using it (which was very minimal), she had 0 fear of it.
I currently have 2 open training spots available. Please message, call, or email me at [email protected]

A very talented student of mine on her horse Myles. We're focusing on Western Horsemanship and a little overall tune up on Myles. We've only been working together for a little over a month, and I'm thrilled with the progress they have made and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for these two ππβ€οΈ

I still have one training spot open in February! Please message me, text me (my phone number is posted on my page), or email me at [email protected]
I'm a big believer in using leg, seat and voice commands in my training. I squeeze with my calfs and spurs/heels (when necessary) to slow the horse down and collect. Here you can see the horse go from a lope to an extended trot, turn to the center of the arena, stop and back up, all without the use of my hands.
Please keep your hands soft when working with your horse! I've seen to many good horses ruined because their mouths were pulled and jerked all over the place constantly. π«
*Disclaimer* This is a far step along the training road. Please do not attempt unless you and your horse are 100% comfortable doing so. Go slow and start by giving your horse their head by lowering the reins more and more over time, and work from there.ππ

This is a rescue I worked with a while ago. As you can see he was right at my shoulder without me touching him. This was after only 2 times working with him.
I can not stress how important ground work is! It's the foundation for everything else you do with your horse. πβ€οΈ
I have one open training spot for February. I am willing to travel (up to 30miles) and also have a stall available. I do 30, 60 and 90 tune ups. I will also start a horse under saddle depending on the circumstances. I will be posting my credentials shortly again, or if you'd like to see them now, feel free to scroll down a few posts π

This is Dusty. We're working on getting him to back off the bit and get more comfortable with more leg. You can see how my heels are down and toes up and turned out and I'm using my calf muscles to squeeze him to collect and back off the bit. This video was taken after he had not been ridden in over a month.

I miss those summer days working with my girl CeeGee βοΈππ
This is a mare I rode who had been out to pasture for the past 9 years and had not been ridden at all during that time. She was only lightly broke when she was 3. I'm so happy with how she performed, especially for her first time out in quite a while!
