We are staying warm & cozy here at the ranch. In case you haven't met all of our babies, let me introduce them.
Hershey is the Matriarch, Nanny Dog & Welcome Committee. She is a senior Brindle Cur Dog.
Dakota is my husbands shadow. She "works" with daily. As a Blue Heeler Cattle Dog her hardest job is licking cow noses.
Triscuit is the end of the legacy of the the late, Legendary, Biscuit The Ranch Mouser! She was born without a tail, as her mother & grandfather were. Did you know only 5% of orange tabby are female & usually sterile.
Howler is our adopted rescue. He is a Large Rat Terrier from hunting stock in Rapides Parish. He is scarred from abuse but is completely loved by us. He lives up to his name as he is our alarm system outside.... FUN FACT He is a fierce protector of our chickens. He sleeps in their coup with them!
Jolene, ah Jolene, is a gangster kitty from the hoods of Highland. She has turned into my best friend & is strictly an inside kitty. She is SO VOCAL! Her big eyes are fascinating. I believe she is part Bengal Cat with those eyes & her unique markings.
All of our pets are socialized & peaceful with all of our guests. Even if your doggo has never been around cats or is a cat chaser, our babies will soften their hearts & win their friendship.
