🕊 Wherever you are, whatever you do or do not celebrate, I wish you joy, contentment, and gratefulness this holiday season and into the New Year. ❤️ On a personal note, as a child, I was raised in a strict religion that doesn't celebrate many holidays. As you can imagine, I was sad during the holidays for many years because I always felt alone. I even built a business that involves working during the holidays so that I would be busy! But I'm not lonely during the holidays anymore. I have my chosen family, including my wonderful husband, my best friends, and my clients, several of whom are closer to me than my own family, plus all of the dogs I know and love. This is what my family looks like these days. I am joyful. I am content. I am grateful. I hope you are, too.
🕯 In the spirit of Hanukkah, may we all bring light to others in times of darkness.

🚒 Thanks to the guys from and EMS for coming so quickly to our *FALSE* CO alarm! Twice in one day! EMPHASIS ON ***FALSE*** (you can relax PAWrents...) 👨‍🚒 Boone and Percy were THRILLED to have so many visitors! As you can tell, they thought the FD was here specifically to see them... The fourth photo shows Percy's disappointment when he realizes there are, in fact, no treats in the fireman's pockets. 😱
Not pictured: Mocha and Yuki barking VERY loudly at the "intruders" from the office 2 feet away. Two VERY different kinds of dog personalities 😂.
Good news: No one is dying. There is no fire and no CO. We will be replacing our faulty CO detector ASAP! Don't worry, PAWrents! I already have a backup CO detector installed (bc I'm a very anxious person and worry about everything, as you probably already know 🫣).
Welp... this was fun. Now, back to the realities of working at a dog daycare, finishing making the pups' dinners and de-icing the potty area. LFG!!!!

PLEASE SHARE. Our friend Graham is REALLY sick and might die if he doesnt get treatment. His parents are doing everything they can to figure out what's wrong, but the cost of diagnosis has made them basically max out all cards and everything. You may remember Graham from when he was younger and came to daycare. You haven't seen him in a little while bc his mom has been working on his reactivity, and he's been doing great! He's in the hospital now, and without a diagnosis, they can't help him. They've ruled out leptospirosis today. Possibly issue w his kidneys but still unsure and more testing required. Time is of the essence, obviously, so if you have a few spare dollars, please donate on gofundme. I'll include the link in my profile. If you can't donate, that's okay! Please share with your network so we can spread the word. WE LOVE YOU GRAHAM! ❤️
