🥲 Friday is Saar's LAST DAY at The Mindful Mutt after 2.5 years on the dream team! They have been through all the ups and downs of a small business since joining the team (thanks to their fiancé, Mo, who also worked with us!), and they have grown so much professionally. 🙏 I know I can speak for our clients when I say that we are all lucky to have had Saar care for our pets the last 2+ years. They and Mo will be moving to Seattle next week with Moonpie, their hamster, and 5 ferrets! Thank you, Saar, for everything you've done for the pups, for the community, and for me personally. (Also please dont leave.) 🧡's Saar and Mo 4 eva!

👀Looking for an administrative assistant? LOOK NO FURTHER! Tatum has almost 3 whole years of experience as a cutiepatootie and has been an exceptional front desk receptionist since joining in April! He requires a reasonable wage of zero dollars (he isn't the materialistic type...) plus 4 treatos per hour. Each hour must also include a bathroom break and at least a 20 minute nap. Still a novice with phone etiquette, but eager to learn. 100% guaranteed to increase your office morale and contribute to a positive company culture. We saw our dear pal, , at the Nonantum Village Day fair!!! He was working really hard, letting all the residents pet him and hug him. We cant wait for Officer Leo to come back to the mindful mutt for his next staycation! I am so proud of my dog, Memphis, for not reacting to any doggos at the fair, including a tiny poodle whose mom let them come right up to him and sniff him 🙄. Memphis and Nola Bear made lots of friends with a bunch of kids. Despite wearing the muzzle, he LOVES kids and always has. I was surprised how many parents allowed their small children to pet him -- normally they would avoid him because of his muzzle! All of the kids who could talk asked for permission to pet the dogs before approaching -- amazing parenting!!!!! I also think Officer Leo def has helped teach newton kiddos how to behave around dogs! Memphis loves when kids pet him and he likes to lean up against them. Nola Bear loves any attention because shes a diva living in a world that revolves around her. She got LOTS of scritchy scratches (her fave!!!!) Shout out to my other half, the mindful mutt's resident handyman, for being in that pic even though i cropped your head out.

WHY DOES THEO SIT LIKE AN OLD MAN!?!?? nugget is FINALLY back from NYC after moving away. Thank DAWG! He is staying w his auntie and grandma in Boston while his dad is traveling. Don't worry, more Theo to come on Friday and next week!!!!! 🥰

So proud of for being the bravest boy at the vet! He is boarding with us and our diligent staff noticed he was straining to p*e and his p*e was discolored! 🤒 Contacted mom and took him to the vet. His urine sample was dark brown from bacteria and blood from his irritated bladder wall. But the good news is he does not have a blockage and no bladder stones showed up on his XRay! Thank Dog! 🙌
Henry is an anxious dog generally, so it wasn't his favorite but the Doc at Small Door Vet took her time with him and he came back with his pain meds, feeling like he was floating on clouds (AKA high AF), as you can see in the pics 🤪. He has his antibiotics and his pain meds, which we will administer with food 2x per day, and he will come back for a follow-up when his mom gets back in town! The Doc said he should be feeling MUCH better by tomorrow! 🙏 Thank you and our awesome team at for all of your help! DOG BLESS!

👋 This is Mila. She is our Inventory Manager, responsible for keeping all of our supplies well-stocked. She made a trip to home depot for some spring cleaning supplies. The drive was precarious since she only has her learner's permit. But we made it back to The Mindful Mutt in one piece! Good job, Mimi! (PS: last 2 pics are of the other dogs she met, but he didn't even say hello or anything! HOW RUDE!)

City of Boston Animal Care and Control graciously bestowed our 2025 License upon us after our rigorous inspection. Thank you to for all that you do, and for helping enforce the new regulations. Here's to safer, cleaner, healthier dog care options in the coming years!
