Our highland bull born last September is weaned and ready for a new pasture.
His mom is blonde and father is red. The older he gets the more blonde he is. So when he is full grown I’m thinking he is going to be blonde.

Sawyer’s acres was able to bring a little petting zoo to the Piqua Head start this morning.

7 year old highland heifer.

Possibly pregnant. Don’t know much about her. She is about 1100LBs right now.

I acquired her and her sister. Told both were bread and due in July. Her sister didn’t calve until Sept. She isn’t very friendly.

A year ago today we went and looked at Opal and Millie and then brought them to the farm…..without even a place to put them 😂

One year later my husband has been working non-stop many sleepless days to get where we are today and my amazing father in laws frustrations but stuck by our side through it all. Though we have many more things to accomplish I would say in a years time we have came pretty far along.

We have had 3 dexter (one that’s in our freezer now) 3 Minature donkeys, 2 highlands and 7 goats. Some deaths that upset us, some running loose donkeys that have exhausted us and Mostly stubborn animals with each their very own LARGE personalities.

I can’t wait to continue to watch it all continue to come together over the years to everything we could have imagined. God has blessed us over and over again.

The best is yet to come. ❤️❤️❤️ and All because my Wonderful husband has made it all possible.

More animals means a bigger pasture is needed. This was planted about 2 weeks ago. Soon the animals will have a bigger place to roam.
