This couch potato is Eggo. He is extremely shy at first when meeting new people when there are no other dogs around. He is staying at a new foster home this week and they said it took him a while to want to come into the house and feel comfortable in a new environment, but by the next day he was snuggling and loving his foster parents. Eggo does not present well at meet and greets but if you are willing to give him space, show him some love and let him get comfortable, he will be your best friend for life. He is a timid boy that does well in a home with cats, dogs and children. He is 5 years old, 49lbs and Catahoula Leopard Mix. We have more dogs coming up on 4/26/25 and they range in age from 3.5 months to 4 years old. There are 9 puppies coming up in a total. All medical and food costs are covered by the Sanctuary. 🌟🌟 Volunteer Opportunity!! 🌟🌟

Did you know here at The Minnis Sanctuary we have a room just for CATS 😻!!

Our cat room was created for our long time cat Steve French who was an innapropriate uninator when he has free roam of the house. He needed a bit smaller space and he has no issues with using the litter box. Well fast forward some years and we now have a cat only room with a screen door so we can all feel included, water fountains and wall shelves, hide aways, hammocks and more! It now houses Steve French, 2 feral cats Evan and Apple, Apple's sister Ruby, and cats we are fostering such as Opal and Yama.

Well, as always I want more for the animals staying with us. We need a catio!!

We are looking for volunteer(s) to build an escape proof, wildlife proof, safe space for our cats to get more enrichment! Please reach out if interested!!

We are also hoping for donations to help fund the project. The more funding, the more amazing we can make the space 💕. If you are interested in donating, Venmo and Paypal are best - just add 'catio' to the note so we know how to direct the funds.

Alright lets talking about Eggo. Eggo is very timid when meeting new people if other dogs are not around. We believe he would be best in a home with another dog to show him how to be apart of the family. He is being fostered in a home with three dogs from 12lbs to 55lbs. and he loves his foster parents very much. Once he is comfortable he doesn't stop wagging his tail and trying to boop you with loves. He is 5 years old, 49 lbs., and a Catahula Leopard Dog Mix. Milo is still looking for his forever family. He has been to three events, and we haven't had a single application for this Handsome, Goofy Guy. Milo is a little over one years old, 65 to 70 lbs., and Pit-ski (Our guess is half Husky and half Pitbull). Milo is a sweet dog that loves going for a walk or hike, playing with dogs his size, snuggling on the couch with his people and he is house, and crate trained.
