The next week is going to be HOT! Please make sure you are using extra caution when exercising your dog. Go early in the morning or late at night after the sun goes down if you are walking, if you have outdoor pets please consider bringing them into the house while the weather is going to be in the feel like triple digits, and please watch your dogs paws on asphalt and pavement! This heat can be extremely dangerous to our dogs

We have some very cold weather coming in the next few days! Please use extreme caution when having your dogs outside. If it is too cold for you, it is too cold for them to be outside. With the predicted temperatures, prolonged time outside can be life threatening for your pets. If you have to have outside pets please bring them into a heated garage or basement for the next few days.

Does your dog have the rainy day blues?? One super simple way to keep them happy and occupied on a day like today are tube feeders! Take an empty paper towel rolls and bend one end closed, throw some treats in and close the other end up. your dog will have to work for their treat and will keep their minds working!

Did you know that October is Adopt a Shelter Dog month?? Here at the dog park, we love our rescue friends :) While our furry friends are at the shelter waiting for their forever homes, they would love some extra goodies! Through the month of October there will be a donation bin located inside the dog park gate. The shelter dogs would love canned food, dog toys, and treats! If you would like to donate an item, the dogs sure would appreciate it!

Hi guys! Unfortunately the dog park is going to be closed this coming Sunday August 7th. The parking lot and road coming into the dog park is getting repaved. We should open back up Monday the 8th by 8am!

Hey guys! The dog park is getting an upgrade! :) The park will be closed on Thursday July 14th to add river rock to help prevent dogs from digging or getting underneath the fence. We appreciate your patience with this and should reopen Friday the 15th!

Did you know that this weekend is one of the busiest of the years for animal shelters? Shelters see a huge increase of intakes around the 4th of July. Even the most calm dog can get spooked from the sights and sounds of the firework displays going on. The dog park would love for you to bring your pups during the day, get them nice and tired from playing, and let them stay home during the fireworks! This weekend, there will be treat bags to take home and have your pups enjoy while you are at the fireworks display, and a raffle to win a 2023 dog park membership! We know everyone loves a good fireworks display, but for our pups it can be a terrifying time. Please use caution and keep your pets at home this weekend!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to our first dog park event! We saw lots of happy pups enjoying themselves today! We will be drawing the name for the raffle basket and gift certificate for a 2023 membership tomorrow afternoon and will be contacting the winner then!

It's the beginning of Pet Appreciation Week! Who is excited for Sunday's event? Just a reminder it will be rain or shine from 12-2pm. Most of the activities will be in the furthest yard. 2022 Dog Park memberships will be on sale. Come out and enjoy an afternoon with your pups! We will have bobbing for hot dogs (or apples for the health minded pups :) ). We will also have paw painting, pictures with your pups, and a raffle for a gift basket and free 2023 dog park membership! Who are we going to see on Sunday?!

Hey guys! Just a friendly reminder to please keep your dogs on a leash until they are in the dog park. We had a couple dogs running around today without their leash and we don’t want any accidents to happen :)
