Honey Acres Music Center is offering lessons in Violin, Voice, Piano, and Guitar for all ages and levels! We are also offering two classes this fall. “Musical Storytelling,” a class for any student regardless of music experience, explores how Classical music creates characters, setting, plot, and emotion. For intermediate to advanced string and piano students, we are launching our “Sonata and Chamber Music Program,” where students will play with their friends and learn how to communicate effectively and thoughtfully through music. Registration is open for one more week!

Announcing Honey Acres Farm Fall Classes! Learn about animal care, gardening, and fiber arts with hands-on activities during our “Life on the Farm” class for 7-12 year olds. Younger children can listen to a book, visit our animals & garden, do a craft, and play in our Foal Field during the “Honey Acres Storytime” class. Registration is open for one more week. Due to tornado damage at Honey Acres, the Shakespeare Concert is RESCHEDULED to Sunday, August 25th.

(All people, animals, and structures at the farm are safe and intact, however the road to the farmhouse is completely blocked by fallen trees.)

Honey Acres could be the new home for your retired or semi-retired horse! Honey Acres has 77 acres of pasture and a riding trail that connects with the EPIC trail system. We have a few spaces available in each of our boarding packages: field, stable, and hybrid. Field Board: Field boarded horses have access to large, well-maintained pastures. Water and quality hay is supplied. Boarders have access to a tack room, a horse washing area, and a grooming space. Your horse has access to year round shelter.

Stall Board: Our main barn has l2' x 12' stalls. Boarders have access to a tack room, a horse washing area, and a grooming space. Horses will be turned out daily to large, gender-based paddocks with shelter.

Hybrid Board: Hybrid boarded horses are provided everything included in the field board with the addition of access to their own stall in the hybrid barn. Our hybrid barn has 8 stalls and two fields that can accommodate four horses each. The barn has electricity to power lights, fans, and heated water buckets.

Sending a heartfelt thank you to everyone that came out to the Winter Art Festival last weekend. We are especially grateful to all the incredible artists and musicians that shared their artistry and creativity. We were so excited to introduce our farm as an artistic gathering place to our community and are looking forward to hosting many more events and festivals soon.
