Canine Story Time is a camp favorite! This enrichment activity helps reduce stress, fear and anxiety in our shelter pups. We like to say if the dog falls asleep, you’re doing it right.
Our campers spend one hour each day between cat cuddling and canine story time.
Do you have a kiddo ages 6-15 who would benefit from spending time with shelter pets? Apply to our Junior Volunteer Program!
We have so many wonderful adoptable pets right now. Here are just a few.

Time to adopt a kitten or two?! We have plenty!
HOV is open Tuesday through Sunday from 12pm to 5:30pm.
Have you ever found a kitten outside and were unsure what to do next? One of the first steps you can do is to see whether they are healthy or not! If you find a sick or injured kitten outside, while it is still best to see if a mom will show up to bring in with them, you can bring the kitten(s) into your local vet or animal shelter to get assistance in getting that kitten healthy!
Stop by HOV between today & Saturday, May 6th from 12-5 for our kitten shower donation drive with items from our wish list and to learn more about kitten season! We will also have a table set up in our lobby on Saturday May 6th with our Animal Services Coordinator to answer your questions about kitten season, fostering, and more! Can’t stop by? See link below for our Kitten Shower Amazon Wish List to make a donation to kittens in need!
