We are thrilled to offer Agility classes on Monday evenings with trainer Heather Witt- Sullivan. This foundation class is open to beginner handlers, junior handlers, and dogs 4 months and older. 3 spots left at this time! Classes are 90 minutes each, held weekly for 6 weeks, at our Bozrah training facility.

We have TWO public walks tomorrow! At 12pm, you can find our off leash reliable, dog friendly dogs hiking the woods of Stenger Farm Park. Meet in the parking lot at 12pm. Next, join us for on leash public manners at 2pm in the Waterford Commons, and warm up inside the many pet dog friendly stores likes Dicks Sporting Goods, Party City, Tractor Supply Co., 5 Below, Michael's, and BAM books. Choose one or join us for both! See you there!

See you Saturday at our Dog Walking Club! We'll be in Olde Mistick Village at 2pm.
We meet at Crop, the hair salon on the Aquarium end of the Village. Pictures for pets with Santa will be going on, if your dog would tolerate that type of thing. Otherwise we'll be walking and shopping!

This weekend's walking club is geared toward our off leash, dog social friends. Mike will lead a walk for friendly playful dogs with great recall, at the Sheep Farm in Groton at 2pm.

Confirmation classes are for dogs and their owner who may be interested in showing! Learn ring procedure, how to "stack" and showcase your dog in front of a judge. Classes are Drop-In style, $15, and taught by Judi Arsenault and Pam Steadman on Tuesday nights at 6pm. Questions? Send us a message!

Thanks for a wonderful crew today at Haley Farm State Park for our weekly Dog Walking Club! I was so motivated today by the number of dedicated owners who put their anxiety in the back seat and made today about bettering their dogs.
Keep your eyes peeled for next week's walking club location.
Trina & Friends K-9 Rescue dogs were well represented today!

Need a reason to get outside? Want a conversation with like-minded canine compadres while you hoof it? Maybe you have some training questions you'd like to talk over while we walk..
Socializing dogs should not, at least not primarily, be constant play and wrestling. Dogs also need to learn how to remain neutral in the presence of other dogs, without expecting an interaction. Motion and duration can help reactive or over excited dogs to settle into neutrality.
Have you been wondering if your walking gear is up to s***f? Is it doing the job you want it to, allowing for a WALK with your dog instead of a DRAG? Try out different styles of walking gear, in the presence of a trainer, fit by a trainer, without having to order online, or guess in the pet store. Try before you buy! No judgement here, just individuals who are or have been where you've been. See you out there!!
