My name is Buddy and I’ve been waiting so long. I just want a soft bed. A warm home. A family to love me. Is that too much to ask?

I used to live outside. I was chained, left alone, and forgotten—until one day I escaped, injured and broken. When I was attacked again, a kind volunteer saw my pain and finally said, “Enough.” I lost my leg, but I gained a second chance.

Now I’m a gentle, goofy tripod who just wants to sniff the world, go on peaceful park walks, and curl up next to someone who will finally love me like I deserve. I’ve been waiting for over a year… I’m 8 years old, 55 pounds, and my heart still believes there’s someone out there for me.
