I recently received a message on Instagram saying that this owners dog was bathed with DAWN. I am absolutely flabbergasted and at a loss for words. Do NOT EVER use DAWN dish soap on your pets. It causes skin irritation, flakey; dry skin, irritation in your pets ears (which causes major ear infections!), this 1 product is extremely toxic and harmful for your pet. Dawn causes irritation to their eyes, (eventually causes blindness/red eyes from irritation). Please do your research on what bathing products suits BEST for your pets skin, hair and fur. I cannot stress this enough how important that is for their overall health. I cannot explain how important this situation is.
After I finished reading that first message, I knew that I had to share this information with my platform. The owners need to know the truth whenever it comes to their pets.
This is why I do what I do; to CARE for your pet and to give out the correct information to owners who are not using the correct products for their pets. Just from me putting this information out there to owners who have the audacity to use such a harmful; chemically filled product on an animal are hurting their pets without even realizing or knowing it.
Please be mindful about your pet’s health and safety. Be mindful about the bathing products you are using on their skin, hair and fur before starting any bathing processes. Thank you.
