First half of the day complete! Filled with private lessons helping reactive dogs become the best version of themselves. Building confidence and neutrality with one positive experience after another.

The best part about my job is how involved my own dogs get to be in this work. My dogs live very full lives - first and foremost as beloved companions, but they also get to engage in a variety dog sports and activities, hiking and spending time outside in nature, family events and gatherings, and a little of everything in between. But this right here, is their most important job. Directly impacting the lives of my clients and their dogs. Improving the confidence and quality of life for both ends of the leash. Doesn’t get any better than that. ♥️

The highest compliment is a client who sends you a second dog of theirs to train. This client’s first Corso was one of my all time favorite dogs to train. Incredibly biddable once she bonded with me, super high food drive, and a lot of heart. This young lady is now with us for on and off leash training and we’re enjoying having her here.

A warm welcome to Franklin! This is a special rescue dog who we are very excited to have in for training. Franklin will be started with on and off leash training before he moves onto more important things. This boy is likely going to get his CGC, get certified in therapy work, and learn mobility tasks for his family. Not many rescues that naturally have the intuitive, calm demeanor that this guy has.

White Swiss Shepherds don’t come around often, and when they do they often are not the easiest temperaments to work with. What a breath of fresh air this little girl was. She went home today after about 4 weeks of training, and she will be sorely missed. A naturally calm, attentive, bombproof puppy at only 6/7 months old. Dogs like this are truly a joy to work with.

We are honored to have worked with Robin MacFarlane and a lovely group of professional trainers in NY to further our knowledge of how ecollars can help create connection between us and our dogs.

Our very own Monte was a crowd favorite and helped demonstrate the language that can be built between trainer and dog, fostering harmony and clarity in your relationship. A more detailed post to come about our experience with this group.

We love working with new clients, especially those who have timid, shy, and/or nervous dogs. Although I specialize in the crazies and love them wholeheartedly, the shy rescue dog is also near and dear to me. This beautiful girl is staying with us for a couple days to help her acclimate before she comes back to us for a board and train program later this year. ♥️

Prices on everything are going up. Why not save money and also support young talent, especially when their product is better than anything out there. Easy to hold in your armpit for sport training and added bonus that it blends right into the grass to keep your dog safe while playing “fetch”. Cooper is the mascot and greeting committee at our mechanic’s shop. 🔧 We’ve just started working with him on his door reactivity and will also be helping him learn some leash manners.

Meet Zeus the bulldog 💪 He’s finishing up the first part of his board and train program with us this week. He’ll be coming back after the holidays for the finishing touches on his off leash training. A happy guy who reminds us of walking a cinder block on a leash 😂

This little girl is a superstar 🌟 Daisy was with us for a 4 week on and off leash program and is now completing her in home sessions with her owner. Just adding the finishing touches as this girl is smart as a whip. She’ll be visiting us again next week when her owner goes away and we’re ecstatic to have her back. Go Daisy!
