The early health alerts are so helpful for both you and your vet to pinpoint a troublesome area for your horse!

There’s a potential for one of our techs to be at the NBHA MS03-08 show in Brandon on Saturday but we will need feedback on who is wanting to be tested as soon as possible. Please message us to let us know if you are wanting to test!

We are loving all of the feedback from our Giveaway post! But let’s take a minute to talk business.

Let’s discuss a “Walk Day”. If you’ve tested with us and received your conditioning plan, you probably thought the same thing we did. “How in the heck will this work” or “My horse will get so fat because I am not riding long enough” or my personal statement “Uhhh, this is not something I would do but for $100 what do I have to lose”.

We have heard so many different responses to the results and we want to help you get the most of out your horse! Dr. Tula strategically places days in a row based on the needs of your horse so no day is placed “by chance”. Let me get out of a rabbit hole for a minute though.

Think of yourself for a minute. If you go on a walk, when you are walking briskly and with INTENTION, you are probably a little sore the next day and over time you will see different muscles develop. If you go on a leisure walk or a walk without INTENTION you probably will not feel any effects afterwards or you will get discouraged because you are not getting results. Going to the gym is another example, if you walk into the gym with no idea which machine works or how to get in shape you will probably get frustrated and leave or do the same thing over and over which will not get you the results you need or desire!

I am the type of person who wants results right away. I do not like to wait and patience is not a strong virtue of mine, but conditioning these horses takes time. Especially, if they get a health alert!

This is my guy, Capone. On walk days, sometimes I choose to walk with him for some exercise for me too. He was all about a brisk walk this week and at times I was in a light jog just to keep up. This is going to get you results that you are needing/wanting! Don’t be afraid to step out of the box and try something new! You never know where it may take not only you but the mindset of your horse too!
