I’ve been pretty quiet on our business page since summer. We took some time off to be a family and get back to our roots. We started this page out of request for horse lessons in our area. We were excited to be able to offer lessons and camp for the years that we did. As we enter this new year, it is with heavy hearts. After losing our beloved Dixie in December, we are sadden with more loss this year of our pony, Katie.

As of right now, we don’t know what the future holds for the farm business. Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our girls. Our first priority right now is family and the rest of our herd. We hope some day to be able to offer lessons and camp again. As of right now, we are walking through the storm and holding on tight to what matters most.

Thank you to all of you who have loved our girls as much as we have.

Looking back at the last three weeks of camp and holding these memories close. We had a blast riding, grooming, learning about horses, making yummy treats, painting, crafting and creating!
Horse Camp 2022 is in the books and will forever be remembered! 🐴

We finished up our last week of camp this week for the summer and were ever so grateful that the rain held off! These little campers were so fun and our silly faces photos show just how much fun we had!

Well that was a HOT week, but sooooo much fun. Horse Camp Week 1 is in the books. I am so proud of each of these girls and their growth this week. We played games and learned a lot. With the heat index in the triple digits, we learned a lot about how to ride safely and keep our horses safe this week. 🐴❤️🐴

Happy Snow Day from the farm! We had to put some make-shift stalls together for Katie and Dixie. Their stalls were right in the pathway of the ice and snow. They are enjoying their temporary dry and warm stalls. 🐴❄️🐴❄️

On this Giving Tuesday, please consider purchasing a raffle ticket for One Week of Summer Horse Camp. There will be two names drawn. All proceeds will be donated to the “Wyatt Lane” fund set up in honor of his mother, Alex Davis. Alex tragically passed away just last month. She was a huge part of setting up our farm here and starting our summer camps. Many of you know her from Summer Camp 2020. She was also my own kids barrel racing trainer for the last 4 years. We miss her every day. We want to be able to bless her sweet baby boy, Wyatt, through this raffle.

Last Day and Last Week of Camp for 2021! These girls ❤️. What can I say? The friendships formed, the fun had, the heat we all made it through. We won’t soon forget these sweet loves and this awesome week!

Logan rides again tomorrow around 10:00AM (rider 296) and again at around 4:00PM (rider 9). He will be in Arena 1 this time and the rider numbers will be going in reverse order. Check him out along with all these amazing athletes.

If you want to watch some fun competiton, tune in to watch starting tomorrow. Logan will be riding tomorrow around 8:05am and again around 2:00pm. He will be riding everyone’s favorite Palomino during his second run around 2:00pm in Arena 2. Look for rider # 296. Wish Logan and Dixie good luck!

Day 3 & 4 have been so fun. Between the relay races on horseback and a special visit from the farrier, we got to play and learn a lot!
