We're thrilled to announce that our Trap-Neuter-Return endeavor at the Pioneer's Skilled Nursing Facility in Brawley was a resounding success!

We trapped five male and four female cats, which were then taken to Help Vet for sterilization and ear tipping. Additionally, we treated them for fleas and ticks. Although the project spanned the entire day, it was vital to our efforts to control the cat population before spring.

Our sincere appreciation goes out to everyone who contributed to this outstanding achievement!

Our Sally, much like her Nightmare Before Christmas counterpart, is waiting for a miracle. She was found surviving on the streets of Imperial Valley and was scheduled to be spayed; however, she was discovered to be very pregnant. My heart couldn’t allow her to be spayed that day 🥲. She safely raised her babies and is now seeking a forever home. She's amazing, loving dogs, cats, kids, and extremely sweet. Which family will make Sally's Christmas miracle come true?

Unfortunately someone left kittens in a cage abandoned again…can anyone help sponsor? They need vaccines, microchip, deworming & sterilization. This costs about $100 a kitten. Also, food/litter/care. It adds up and we just don’t have the $$ right now to support more kittens.

It’s National Feral Cat Day!

Thanks to Feral Cat Coalition Board Member Sheri Randle, National Feral Cat Day was BROUGHT BACK in 2022 after she reached out to National Today and advocated for its return. Several years ago, National Feral Cat Day was changed to Global Cat Day. While we love the celebration of cats, we felt this was a set back in the years of education provided to communities regarding feral cats. We want folks to know about TNR (trap-neuter-return) and that when a cat is seen with an ear tip, they know that cat is no longer contributing to the overpopulation crisis. And it often encourages community members to step up and help more cats in their neighborhood.

Feral Cat Coalition believes that feral cats deserve a National Day and that organizations providing critical spay and neuter services are recognized and appreciated for providing awareness and life-saving work.

If your organization is involved with feral cats, please take this moment to share this special day for the underdogs of the rescue world

As pioneers in TNR here in the United States, we are grateful for our supporters near and far who have supported us over the last 32 years. Allowing us the ability to continue providing FREE spay and neuter for cats in need is crucial and we cannot thank you enough for believing in us. 💜

So many people are giving up their pets at an all time high rate! One of the BIGGEST reasons!? They don’t have time for their dogs. We promise you, that you do. The alternative is this, this is a photo taken from a shelter. This is the ONLY highlight of these dogs day, mealtime. Most don’t get out of their cage, most don’t experience human touch and most get out of their cage only to be walked to their death….
So please next time you feel bad and don’t think you’re doing enough… we promise you your dog is happier with you than any other alternative.

If you are having issues with behavior or are needing suggestions or support please reach out. We can offer support with suggestions. The only way out of the crisis we are in is if we all band together to help every dog we can. Even those who are in homes and the owners are struggling. It does get better!
