Took Duke to 12 Mile Lake public hunting this morning for our first time dove hunting! He did really well, even if he was not used to waiting patiently for birds! We had a good day and didn't come home empty-handed! We shot 5 birds! Definitely forgot the pictures, but Duke (and I) are learning new hunts! Beautiful morning for some birds!

If anyone was wondering when my next litter might be out of Zoey, your answer is about March/April of 2025! Zoey is in heat right now, but I will not be breeding her this time. I will wait until her next cycle which should be the end of January-ish, and a dogs gestation is 63 days (give or take a day or two).
I plan on this next litter being her last litter before I retire her. Don't worry! I'm not done for good after that! 😉
Duke has always been my guard dog. He enjoys sitting and watching the yard. He loves running with the 4-wheeler and going for rides.
Duke is my weighted blanket! He likes to lay directly on top of me while I'm sitting on the couch!
I have to share this precious video with you! Everly did not know she was getting a puppy. I kept in contact with Brad and Ryan about pickup and they said they were all so excited to have her home. I was sent this video today, and I'm not going to lie. I choked up. This is what makes letting them go to new homes is all about. Not for the money, but to see reactions like this! To make a family happy by the addition of four little paws! Everly was so excited for this puppy and they are the best of friends already! I love making families happy! I know Sunny will be loved dearly by "her girl" !
A final congratulations to Ryan and Everly and their family on the addition of Sunny to their family! Also, thank you to Brad for the transportation for your granddaughter! Sunny has already proven that she will do leaps and bounds of greatness and already fits right in with the family in Denver, Colorado! I don't think the altitude will bother her one bit! 😜

This pretty girl has one more night here before she heads to her new home in Denver, Colorado! Sunny 🌞 loves snuggling and being outside playing with mom and dad! She has been fun to keep around for awhile, but she will have more fun hiking and playing with her new kids!
I took Goose to Creston to meet his new family, and I was able to meet up with his brother Rival as well! (Owners are brothers!) I was fortunate enough to get a three generation picture with Oakley, Zoey, Rival, and Goose! Zoey has been one of my best decisions since I moved to Brayton, and I can't thank Tony and Nicole enough! I'm so thankful for one of the best dogs! Rival and Goose will be able to learn from Grandma Oakley this fall!

These little fluffballs are starting to play more and more!
I just love listening to these babies! They are growing so much! 2 and a half weeks old! I have 5 available still!
My favorite part is getting to snuggle them and listen to their coos!
Mama came upstairs to get some belly rubs! When I'm at home, I try to make sure she is as comfortable as possible and let her have the freedom to be away from her pups for a little bit before she goes back down and checks on them. Puppies 3rd day on soft puppy food!
The little ones are growing so much! They have about tripled in their 2 weeks of life! They are starting to get their eyes open. They aren't completely open, but I can see a little corner starting to open. They should be fully open by the beginning of this next week, if not tomorrow! They are happy little babes!
The pack loves going on walks! 5 females available!
These little munchkins will be 5 weeks old tomorrow! They have been wormed twice and will receive their first round of shots in the next week! I still have 7 available! Let me know if you need a summer companion for your summer break!
Here's the thing about runts..... Sometimes they end up growing into one of the biggest dogs! If you remember from my last litter, I had a couple of runts. This is Drake, my male runt from last July. As of this week he is over 100 pounds and all muscle! Beautiful boy that loves retrieving and puts himself to bed at night!
These cuties are starting to get their personalities! 3 and a half weeks old and they are devouring canned puppy food and when they do nurse, momma has to be standing up because she doesn't have time to sit or lay down before they swarm her! I still have 8 available! Let me know!!
Three weeks old and today is their first time with canned puppy food. Needless to say, I think it is a hit!
These noisy little chunks got their first dose of wormer today! I got their first weights on them and they are all around 2 to 3 pounds at 2 weeks old! They will take after their daddy on weight I'm sure!
Duke is always curious about his babies, and these munchkins get to being real noisy while they sleep! They are getting to be chunkers!
