As promised, finishing up the last 4 youth hunt deer before Christmas!! If you have a youth deer at my shop, be expecting a call this week.

Patiently waiting on the bear hides to return from the tannery. They are next on the list!

Putting the finishing touches on a very fun pack mount! Challenging, but rewarding to see it come together. Almost all parts of this mount are custom. From the hand crafted pack frame (Thanks Ray), to the form it was mounted on. At Wolfgang Taxidermy we believe every mount should be designed by the customers desire. Congrats Andy!

A couple more youth season bucks completed and ready for pickup!! Both very unique. One was velvet that had started to come off and the other had just lost its velvet and still pink! Congrats to the owners.

My 25th michigan rifle opening day. Trying things a little different this morning. Typically I'm right at home in a deep swamp somewhere. Today I'm hunting an open field! What an incredible Sunrise God blessed us with! Good luck to the hunters out there this week.

It's official! We will be removing lymph nodes of whitetail for CWD testing. We are pleased to offer this service not only for our taxidermy customers, but anyone that would like to get a deer tested. Free of charge. Contact us after your harvest to arrange an appointment. Thanks!

The list is growing!!! Thanks to all the bear hunters, youth and liberty hunters that reached out for taxidermy work. Can't wait to make your trophies come to life!

If you're considering getting a bear mount done please contact me asap. I plan to take a load to the tannery this week so I can get them back sooner.

Youth season and the Black bear opener are here!!!! I'd like to wish all the hunters luck and blessings as the new season kicks off!!

Please remember to get your harvest in the freezer asap to have the best looking mount.

Finally wrapping up all the 2022 season jobs!! Sending a huge THANK YOU to everyone who allowed me to preserve your trophies. This year was a great success and I'm looking forward to what the next season brings. I feel truly blessed with all the fellowship, hunting stories and memories I hear in the shop.

Just finished up this Kansas monster!! He needed a replacement hide. Definitely has great coloration on the face. Can't wait to see the customers reaction!!
