Since the taxidermy supply companies are not shipping materials out this week we had a little down time. Decided to give the shop trophy wall a facelift. Hope you all like the new look!

Deer season is here!!! Don't be afraid to ask your taxidermist how to cape a deer because it definitely affects the quality of the mount. This picture below is a good example to reference. And PLEASE do not cut the hide up the back. When in doubt, save the entire hide and let the taxidermist cut the extra off. Also remember to get the hide in the freezer ASAP. It does not take long for bacteria to get into a hide and ruin it. Have a great season!!

Our trip to Colorado was an amazing time away from the shop. Glad to be back home and we hit the ground running!! There are several finished deer in the shop waiting to be picked up and we are starting the last few deer for the 2023 season and looking forward to getting started taking in the 2024 deer! As always we are thankful for all of our loyal customers and looking forward to another great season! Best of luck to all the hunters!

As we move into the holiday and celebrate the Independence of this great nation, I thought it was time for an update. We have 17 more jobs to finish on the 2023-24 list.
