Hello! I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I’m Alexis Aurora, Owner and Visionary of Spirit Animals: Sea Girt NJ and Spirit Animals Brick NJ!

Animals have always had a special place in my heart. After realizing in 2011 I couldn’t be Steve Irwin, I got my first job working with pets and eventually started professionally grooming in 2013.

I specialize in Asian Fusion and Freestyle grooming, blending your pets personality and my creativity while upholding my commitment to a low-stress, fear-free grooming experience. Always making sure to prioritize each pet’s comfort and well-being.

With a veterinary background, and a certification in Pet CPR and First Aid and a deep understanding of pet behavior, I believe grooming fears can be rehabilitated through patience, trust, and collaboration between groomers, pet owners, and veterinarians. My goal is to create a safe, positive experience for every pet I work with, from puppy hood to their senior years.

Beyond grooming, I practice deepening my Animal Communication Gifts, hoping I can strengthen the connection between pets and the people who love them. I’m also a professional Native American flute player, Reiki practitioner, and energy healer specializing in crystal and sound healing. I consider myself to have a holistic approach to pet care, ensuring that every grooming experience is not just about appearance but also about the pet’s emotional well-being and relaxation.

I believe Spirit Animals and the Spirit Animals Family to be unlike any other pet grooming experience. We believe grooming can be clean, valuable and uplifting. ✨🐾 Have you heard of Pet Reiki? 🐾✨

Pet Reiki is a gentle healing practice that helps animals relax, reduce pain or stress, and support their overall well-being. Whether your pet is anxious, recovering from an illness, or just needs some extra comfort, Reiki can promote healing and balance the Chakra systems.

Sessions are done by either lightly placing hands on or near your pet; or using crystals or other healing tools as well. By allowing calming energy to be shared with your pet (with their consent). Many pets naturally relax, lie down, or even fall asleep during a session! While it’s not a replacement for vet care, it’s a wonderful complement to support emotional and physical health.

So excited that Pet Communicator, Pamela Animal Spirit Intuitive will be joining us 2/23 from 2-6:30pm. Her last visit connected a lot of pet parents with their beloved pets on the other side. She is very insightful and truly has a gift for sharing messages from our pets.
We recommend booking an appointment but walk ins will be accepted on a first come first serve basis!

Good morning! My name is Alexis and I am so excited to let you all know we are now booking for our Spirit Animals: Brick location!
We have been helping pets and the people who love them, live happier and healthier lives Spirit Animals: Sea Girt NJ for the past 3 years and are now coming to Brick!

We are a cage free, express and private pet grooming facility and will also be offering Pet Reiki appointments as well 🙂

I personally have been working with pets professionally since 2011 and know that there are others out there who see, feel & know that they are more than “just animals”. They come to us, find us and help us exactly when we need them the most. Whether we know it or not!

Hello! We are happy to announce the Birth of Spirit Animals: Brick! Our Salon will be taking appointments for February 2025. Please enquire via messenger as we will be accepting new clients as well as our friends coming from Spirit Animals: Sea Girt.

Our Salon is a Private, Express, Cage Free Grooming Salon & Pet Reiki Studio.
As fellow pet lovers we know how deep our connection with our pets can be. We want our pets Happy, Healthy & CLEAN! But not gone all day:(
With our Private appointments your pet will have no unnecessary waiting or crating while at our salon and most pets will be home in 1-2 hours.

We are also sooo happy to offer Pet Reiki appts for our furry friends who may need relief from pain, anxiety, or other stressors.
Together we can make a safe space for pet lovers of all kinds:)
