❗️❗️ Important boarding announcement ❗️❗️
At Summerhouse we take great pride in our cleanliness of our facility. We do not allow share play time with others to avoid fighting, pregnancy and any illnesses. With that being said we have a few reports of dogs getting a respiratory illness this week after their stay with us and we want everyone to be aware. We do require all pets to be current on bordettella vaccine within a 6 month period per our veterinarian and we do not cross contaminate anything in our facility unfortunately this is an airborne virus. We will still maintain our strict cleaning measures and will be installing an air purification system. If your pet is feeling unwell or coughing before boarding we ask that you cancel your reservation with us and that your pet be seen by veterinarian and receives treatment and if your pet becomes sick while boarding they will asked to be picked up immediately ! Your pets health and well being are our top priority. If you have any questions please give us a call 256 495 2554 thank you .

As a friendly reminder even though the bordettella vaccine is good for 1 year Summerhouse requires it to be given every 6 months or 2 days prior to boarding per our veterinarian advice thank you for adhering to guidelines.
